Hello, Does anyone have a idea of who makes coil spring spaces for the stock springs (sagging coil springs) Thanks for your advice in advance.

Those are the factory springs, I agree it is setting a little high but don't mind it due to the road I travel on.

I really like the 280Z and have restored 2 in recent years, just my 2 cents, the blue 280Z car photo in the junkyard is of the gold car before restoration.

Do people notice you in your classic Z on the road?
Everytime I take her out she get's plenty of attention, and many times folks will come and talk to me about the Z, what an ice breaker!!

Fuel injection to SU carb swap
Update for the Mazda fuel pump wiring, run new wire and reley from the run section of the ignition switch and connect to the wire going to the fuel pump and everything will work just fine. I have been running mine since last August 2010, it is very fine.

Dash caps
You will not have the remove the dash cap if want to remove your gauges because they are removed from the back of the dash, I repaired my dask and placed a full dash cap over it and it is really nice, or you can just put a dash cap over you craked dash that is up to you.

Five speed vs three speed
Hello, I have a 78 with a five speed and it runs around 3K rpm's at 70 mph I am looking to put a 80 zx five speed from my parts car after a rebuilt into it, what would be best from the ratios I have talked over with a friend would be an 82 or 83 zx 5 speed, you can check out the various gear ratios for each in a shop amnual. Hopefully this is some help to you.

73 240z Temp Gauge
Hello, I am pretty sure the sensor with the yellow single wire is your temp sensor for the temp gauge.

Ignition problem.
If you believe it is the module, I would remove it and go with the GM HEI module, I have been running it for months with no problems. I found a write up on the module on this web site and it cost about $25 bucks just my 2 cents.

I have a set of (6) fuel injectors for a 78 280Z, I used about a month in very good shape, for sale for $190.00 plus shipping, I went to SU'S. Hello, I would replace it with a HEI Module, it is the best thing to replace the original ignition control module with, plus it is only about $20 or so dollars. I did it with mine and I have not been sorry, plus it is a solid state construction there is an article here on the web site or I can send you what I have on how to wire it up.

Finally got to drive the "Barn Find"
She is a beauty, I can relate to the enjoyment after 3 years of restoration, I too was able to drive my 280 again.
