Hi, Got it all back together and it's running very nicely, I'm still tunning, fuel and spark, had a little 'pinging' at high RPMs so I wound the spark back to about 18 degrees at 7K, 200kpa (15ish PSI). the EGT is very nice, and super fast (expose tip), Nigel

Hi, Sunday was a semi nice day ( 8:00am to about 1:00pm), so I pulled the head off to have a look, also this gave me the option to fit my EGT probe Nigel

I think the words were a little stronger than that :-) I think I may have caused the issue, I had also changed the spool time on my turbo (on this run) so it came on stronger at lower rpm ( the turbo has a 15psi actuator that I fitted a external spring, so it would open at lower psi, 7ish, but still hit 15psi at 5.5K and up, but this run, I released the spring tension so it hit 15psi at about 3.5k), any way it came on strong, second to third and pop.. live and learn, my first head gasket ever.. anyway when the weather clears up (I live in Tassie, and got no garage) I'll replace the head gasket. I need to find some more engines and build something up that will last a bit longer ( head work, arp bolts, etc, ) Nigel

I did this other day, I got a new fuel rail and 440cc injectors, I was doing some high RPM pulls (7K running 15PSI) tuning my Megasquirt II and pop, I though it was a manifold gasket, till I pulled it apart, and saw the head gasket hanging out the side of the block.. Nigel

Hi, I came across this, out of my daughters car magazine. http://www.spectrumrubber.com.au/Spectrum_Rubber_Catalogue.pdf It's go a lot of bits and bobs, like rubber windscreen seals (buy by the roll), body mold retainer clips, boot seals, lots of plastic clips, grommets. I though it may be useful Nigel

to be honest, I wouldn't pay 5k for a coupe, some may, but not me. my range, depending on condition would be 1 to 2.5K Nigel

No, but one of the first things, (besides moving my running gear), will be to do flares, and wide wheels.. but that would come back to getting a coupe, getting flares, and finding wide watanabe clones.(superlite), with dish not offset Nigel

With out flares, and mags & tyres to fill, they (coupes) don't look anything special Nigel

When I added EFI to my car, I had to use the N47 head, it has the EFI notches in the head, the extra bolt holes for the EFI manifold, and larger valves, over the original E30 head. It's still running the original N/A cam, but I can't remember what letter it is, without looking , (can't find any pictures) as for other mods, nothing planned yet, but most likely cold air intake, some more fine tunning on my MS system, there a new shop just opened in town with a dyno, so I need to check that out.. I'm still looking for a coupe to do up, but there not many around anymore, but I live in hope :-) Nigel

No, it's got a N/A L24 with a turbo, megasquirt, controlling fuel and spark via a ford EDIS waste spark system. some pictures here http://noddle.110mb.com/Turbo%20Upgrade/index.html Nigel

Hi, I took it from a mid '77 model, I'll check my '73 one to see if it's the same. as you can see, it has the 3 lines, this is on a 4 door '73, not a coupe Nigel

Here you go, 1st one, at the front of the car, 2nd one, near the rear wheel arc 3rd one, near the rear wheel arc 4th one, is where the brake line separate from the fuel line 5th one, where the 3 lines go into the boot. Nigel

I would think the freight to Tasmania (Australia) would be more than the kits worth, I would need something local Nigel
