EDIS on my 240K
Yes, a fair bit off work, but this is my hobby, slow and steady win the race, unless you have lots of money and pays someone else to do it.. I found a smallish business that has a laser cutter, and his rates are very good, the adaptor for the 36 tooth wheel was $10, I had my brother spin it in his lathe, and the bracket was $5. I enjoy doing it myself, so when someone says "who did you get to do that" I can say "I did it myself". and now the weathers getting nicer, I'll be able to finish my other projects, I'm looking forward to getting Megasquirt running, and then do my turbo install.. as for a technical write up, I have lots of pictures Nigel

C110 for sale - may need a little work
When mine was done, they use some special black stuff on a spong, and put this on the windows (about 1 cm wide) around the outside, and on the the area on the car where it was going to seal too, I believe this makes it stick better Nigel

C110 for sale - may need a little work
when I had mine done, they used "black gooey stuff in a silastic gun" (technical term ) to seal the windshield. no "rubber seal" like the early Holdens / Fords. Nigel

"Tell him, he's dreaming"
True, I remember when I was 14 or so, my brother and his 2 mates each had 240K's, a blue 4 door, my brothers green 4 door, and a silver 2 door (which a telegraph pole took out). And they used to get a thrashing, Nigel

"Tell him, he's dreaming"
Nice, I would be to scared to that to my 240K, one mistake and a tree or a ditch would take you out.. Nigel

aarrgghhh more rust :(
The el-cheap o sand blasting kit I used worked pretty good, but I did use a "half decent" compressor though, I suppose it come down to how much work you have to do, for me it was small panel work, corners in the doors, guards, around the window seal area etc.. I didn't strip the whole car. Nigel

aarrgghhh more rust :(
Hi, Have you looked into one of those cheap "super cheap" sand blasting kits, if you have a compressor, these work good on the rust, the only problem is sand goes every. also I use this stuff, converts rust back to metal, I haven't seen the POR stuff. 15k to get the body done, you could almost buy 1/2 a new car for that.. Throttle body upgrade
Hi, I just brought a 60mm throttle body of a KA24e, these can be found on 2.4 liter Pintara T and Ti models, or in my case a Ford Corsair 2.4 Ghia (89-92), they are re-badged Nissan Pintaras, they have the same bolt pattern, but you would need something in between, to cover the bulge in the intake manifold. see pictures Nigel
