I suppose you could check the float level, make sure the needle and seat are not worn, or have "sh!t" in it, also you could use compressed air to clean all the "channels" out (fuel and air gallery's) I take it still using the manual fuel pump, and has not been replaced with a high pressure electric one ? Thanks you, and I added some more stuff to my site, all I need to do, is to finish my projects .. Nigel

I haven't finished it yet, I have been busy doing other stuff, and now with the weather getting worse (cold and wet) and getting darker sooner (don't forget I live in Tassie), I haven't got back to it yet, also you may have noticed, I have about 3 other jobs on, on my 240K If you check out my web site, I put a lot of picture up on it. http://noddle.110mb.com/ Nigel

I going to wire megasquirt through the original mr30 wiring, and I need the connector of the old ecu to connect through, also since this is my daily drive, I need to be able to plug the original ecu back in if I can't get megasquirt to run properly over a weekend. here's a picture a what I want to do Nigel

Hi, I'm after a dead MR30 ECU for my megasquirt project, Nigel

This is the CAD drawing for my bracket, it was based on 240K&Beyond original CAD drawing. Disc Bracket 240K-Bolt.dwg
  8. Noddle posted a post in a topic in 240K Skyline
Hi, I used "240K&Beyond" original CAD drawing, from this thread http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15930&highlight=bracket+240K it was a one piece bracket, there is no one around where I live, that could do a C&C bracket for me, (cheap enough anyway) all I did was "hack" it so it was in two pieces, it cost me $37 to get the two sides made (4 pieces) and all I have to do is bolt the two half's together, the engineering place offered to weld them, but I preferred to bolt them as I saw it would be easier to get them passed by a engineer . I'm sure if anyone wants the original CAD drawing, 240K&Beyond, would be happy to give you a copy Nigel

Hi all, I've been slowly getting the bits I need for my rear disc conversion, I had my brackets made (laser cut), and I threaded them, also I had my brother spin down the "tab" to make a 4mm offset to centre the caliper to the disc, as you can see they fit pretty good (on my spare 240k). also here's a link to my web site with more pictures http://noddle.110mb.com/Rear%20Disc%20Conversion/index.html Nigel
  10. 440k, not sure if they are different, But theses are close, the one on the left is from a MR30 Skyline (my spare parts), the one on the right are off my spare 240K as you can see the skyline one had 3 indentations on the top off the nut (crushed), the washer are is slightly larger, not sure if this would be a issue, but I have access to a lathe, so next week I'll see if my local Nissan dealer can supply those.. Nigel
  11. Hi, where would I buy rear axle nut(s) for a '75 240K ?, I rang my local Nissan dealer, and spoke to a guy in "spare parts", he almost laughed at me, and told me he could not get them. I know I can buy a bearing kit, which has the bearings, seals, and nut, but at $50 ish each side, it's a bit more than I want to spend for 2 nuts. I have also tried the local "nut & bolt" shop, but he could not supply a nut with the "metal lip" for the locking bit so any help would be appreciated and before you ask why I'm taking the rear axles out, it to fit the brackets for my disc conversion Nigel

I found this, http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=199703 here's a snippet Lambda just means stoich for the fuel mixture. gasoline stoich AFR = 14.7 Lambda = 1.0 AFR = 11.76 Lambda = 0.8 Lambda is basically just the multiplier to the AFR. From what I've read is we all use AFR to measure mixture but people in other countries like to use lambda. Some rather use lambda while others like to use AFRs. Hopefully you can actually change what the your unit displays(either lambda or AFR.) I suppose this is like PSI and Bar with Turbo people Nigel

I know where I live, there are two 240K, mine, and a old lady has one, who doesn't want to sell, I know, I asked. I have had 2 offers this year to sell my car, but I declined. I have not seen a 2 door around here for about 5-7 years or more. But it's not stopping me looking for one. Nigel

I had always though of making it adjustable, with left and right hand threaded bar, but after reading what matt240K said, I'm going to put it together on the car and weld the main cross brace, the picture show its better than I have explained it. also I decided that 6 mm was to thick, so I ask my brother to "spin" it down to 4.5mm on his lathe. Nigel

  20. Noddle posted a post in a topic in 240K Skyline
Sorry for dragging up and old thread, but I'm been slowing making my strut brace, I had these laser cut out of 6mm mild steel, I think its a bit thick, but not seeing one in the flesh, I'm not sure of the correct thickness, these cost me $25, pretty good I though. I have a .DWG (Auto Cad) drawing if any one wants it. Nigel
