Hi, Has any one got part numbers, company name for the "Sway Bar Mount To Chassis Bushing" (original size / 20mm) and the "Sway Bar Link Bushing" using urethane / polyurethane ? I'm wanting to replace my original rubber bushes and have not found a replacement yet Nigel

Yeah, I saw that one too, but it would take a lot to put it back on the "road" legally, I would think.

  8. I had allway thought that a GT was a 2 doors, but looking through this site http://blog.goo.ne.jp/midget_tmk/m/200604, I came across a "Datsun 240K GT" 4 door. Is this something that has been made up, or JDM ? also for me I have 2, 240K, one for parts, a 73 4 door, and my daily driver is a 77 4 door, Mr Camouflage mentioned about the dash air vents been different, which is correct, the console is a little different to, I know that my 73 one has a rubber type top on the lid of the console, I know the wind shield washer bottle is in a different place, the 73 one has it on the left hand side towards the front of the car, my 77 one has it infront of the right hand shock tower, but I not sure if some has moved it before I brought the car,
  9. Its the little leaver on the side of the seat (upright part), that flips the seat forward, and moves the seat forward (on the track runner), it's to let the back seat passenager in and out. well it was on the seats I brought many years ago from a smashed 2 door for my XK falcon I had at the time.
  10. So what’s the main differences? I know that the seats have the "Quick release", and the doors are different, but what about the boot lid, back window ? I'm just wondering how much gear could be taken from a 4 door and put onto a 2 door after seeing the "save them before crushing" thread. http://classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26059 Nigel

Very nice, but a little different than a 240K, notice the K, its not a Z. Nigel

Since I brought a MR30 for the EFI, I also keeped the rear disc and calipers, the hand brake leaver doesn't have any slop, so I believe the bearings are ok. I got this AutoCad file from 240K&Beyond a while ago, this is a mock up (out of MDF) I made. I'm not sure how much it would cost to get made, but I think the 2 piece bracket would be cheaper to make, so I may go that way instead. Nigel tm305.dwg

  16. Wanted to buy toyota brake calipers for a Datsun 240K / Magna brake upgrade. Front brake calipers of a toyota 1994 + forerunner Hilux LN,RN, VZN, KZN 106/130 HZJ75 Landcruisers The caliper must be a 4 piston type, each piston must be the same size, not the 2xlarge / 2xsmall type must have 'S13 ' stamped on the caliper (above the brake line fitting), not S12 the S13 suits 35mm vented discs thanks, Nigel

Here are some pictures I took The first one is off my MR30 parts car, I measured from the diff to the flange with the suspension dropped (with the car jacked) its approx 44cm the Second one is with the MR30 flange on the 240K axle, its approx 42cm, so from this the MR30 axle is about 2cm longer, give or take a little.. the other are pictures of the MR30 Flange compared to the 240K one.

I haven't tried it yet, since my 240K is my daily drive, but I now have a clicking sound from the rear when I apply power and take if off, sounds a bit like a uni joint dying, so I'll have a look at the flange when I fix the drive shaft. Nigel

Does anyone know if the R30 flange will fit the 240K axle ? also. can I remove the Uni-Joint flage comming out of the diff, via the bolt, and put the R30 drive shaft into the diff ?, or do I need to install the R30 diff into my 240K ? Nigel
  23. Noddle posted a post in a topic in 240K Skyline
Thanks for that, Did you just use the R30 flange, (see picture) on the 240k Stub ? or did you use the R30 Stub and Flange ?
