Are you a Handy Man, have access to a workshop, welder, oxy etc..? why not make one your self ? I was looking into making one, done some rough drawings to get an idea what I needed, This may give you an idea on how to make one Nigel
  4. Finally got around to installing my fuel pressure gauge, hardest part was finding the fittings, but in the end, Pirtek had every thing I needed in one place, and cheap, cost me $12 for the fittings.
  5. Looks, good ?, where did you get you're Blue rubber (its not rubber, but I can't remember the name of the stuff) bushing from ?, my back end fells like it moves when cornering. also looking through your gallery a little, I see you upgraded the brakes ?, did you use Manga vented disc, with landcrusier calipers ?, this is what I will be upgrading too when I save a little money (cost of living is a bitch). Nigel
  6. khughes, Did you get you CV joint real axles in ? Nigel

I've sent it to our welding department (TAFE Tasmania), I have spoken to one of the teachers, and hopefully he will weld it up, But my next hold up is where to mount my fuel pump, I had a quick look under my car, and there don't seems to any good spots to put it, and i'm not wanting to put it in the engine bay, so where has every one else put there electric fuel pump ? Picture of the fuel pump I'm going to use (R30 Skyline one)

No NOS for me, Mr Camouflage I spent a few more hours today mounting the fuse box / relays and ECU, as you can see in the pictures, I dont think it looks to bad.. Nigel

Some more pictures, I may polish it a bit, but thats all the material I will be removing, carbite tools bits are to expensive to buy.. I put in a picture on the head I will be using, I polished the ports a little, but didn't enlarge it any (except to remove a little bulge on the side in each inlet) Nigel

Some one suggested threading the holes with a pipe tap, and putting in some bungs, I though about using small welsh plugs, I did do a search on ebay.com.au, and didn't come up with any hits, since I'm not in the US, the freight would be a killer, and since I'm trying to do this on the "cheap" my time is free. Mat Big Hat, 4 reasons, more fuel efficient, a little more power I would think, It will look nicer, and it will make it easier to get to the manifold studs. At this stage, no turbo, but when I build my L28, I want to go that way. aarc240, I've spent about 3 hours working on the manifold now, probably a day on the wiring, but since I'm doing it, it's not costing me $40 to $60 an hour.. I have more picture here .. http://noddle.gallery.netspace.net.au/Intake-Manifold Nigel

I'm slowly getting my EFI set up done, I brought a MR30 skyline, to use the EFI from, I stripped the wiring harmes out, Hacked the wiring a bit, and I kept the fuse box, plugged it back onto the motor (still in the MR30 Skyline) to make sure it was still running, All appears to be good, started on my 240K to see where I was going to put it (ECU), I decided under ther dash, left hand side, above the parcel tray, I put a hole in the fire wall, put the wiring through to make sure it fitted, Now I'm hacking the inlet manifold, removing the webbing and EGR plenum, I've included some pictures.. Nigel
