  1. **** you guy's! Most of the post's were from anyway. No loss here.
  2. Fortunately I make an excellent living so to answer your accusation NO! I’m not in it for the money plain and simply. Let me be as clear as possible. The Z's have always been one of my favorite cars and would love to get involved with them. I thought it would be fun and that Z's buyer who live in rusty area's could benefit from what I could offer. You know a two way street. I buy and seller later model imports and shop all day long. I am constantly finding rust free clean Z's cheap and I wondered if they were as readily available in other states and if Not, is there a demand to be filled. I came to this site thinking that I could ponder the question and if there was a demand I could start buying a couple a months and posting them. I checked out the classified section and the inventory seemed thin. If I can create a supply of decent Z's and find happy buyers while making a couple hundred bucks, where is the problem? I guess with all the internet trolls, scam artist and not properly stating what my thoughts and intentions are I set myself up for doubters and flamer’s. Sorry if I came across combative however, I tend to take people at face value and had mistakenly expected to be treated in the same fashion.
  3. Just to clarify, I am no longer affiliated with Brockers. I buy for Auto Brokers. If you are looking a rust free Z, Search http://sacramento.craigslist.org/car/ http://sfbay.craigslist.org/car/ If you find one your interested in. PM me and I'll put my eyes on it for you.
  4. See, this is the type of post that I feel is unnecessary. Truth is, I have a passion for the Z's and want to be involved. My intentions are genuine and sincere. Moonpop, sure find the same listing’s then book a flight and go buy one or take some random guys word and send your cashiers check. Either way, good Luck! What do I bring to the table? I have credentials a mile long in the car industry and know cars like the back of my hand. I know the difference between garbage and a diamond. Your attitude Sucks and your one of the members who should take a hard look at your disposition. Honestly I feel there are a few member who can see that my intentions are legitimate and I’m not a liar, thief, spammer or criminal. Sure, I would like to make a few extra bucks a month any enjoy working with a car line I appreciate. Can you blame me? AND I am damn sure there are Z lovers who would kill to have the ability to pick and choose like I can. I sold over 500 classic and vintage amd muscle cars in a four year period. I specialized in finding clean rust free cars under $15000 and shipped them eastward. Like I mentioned before, all the decent west coast investment muscle have been plundered. However, the Z’s have been over looked and are very plentiful! TRUST ME! Honestly after just a few days on this site I feel less compelled to take up the project as a few bad apples have ruined it for the rest of us. If there are any member’s who are interested in finding a cheap west coast rust free Z for under $3000. pm me and we can discuss options.

  6. Hi Bill, What I was pointing out was that I had purchased a 1981 Z with 128K original miles for $750 with the intentions to restore it BUT I would prefer to spend my time, money and effort on a early 70's or a 76 280. I sold that 81 to a guy for $1350 who said he was buying it for his wifes birthday. Two days later I found it on craigslist for $1950. I had a friend call him and he lied threw his teeth. NICE!
  7. I also apologize for any misunderstandings or hostility. My honest intention was to gauge the interest of East Coast people in buying West Coast cars. I will also concede that in my original post I should have been more specific about the years of cars I have found available I have searched and used http:www.traderonline.com in the past and that has not offered the same type of feedback I can get from a forum such as on this site I could provide links to actual pictures of cars that are available however, I wanted to meet a few members and get a feel for the idea and the potential interest. I do have connections in the transportation industry. I would be willing to assist but would NOT take full responsibility for arranging the shipping as that industry is difficult at best. If cross-posting in two forums is not encouraged, my apologies. I had completed a search and there were no relevant topic to this idea and if it appears like SPAM in was completely unintentional I am genuine and {IF} I do decide to start buying early Z's, I will give members of this board 1st shot.
  8. What I would consider rare would be any early 70's Z that are in close or original condition that have not been molested has not been wrecked and are rust free for A few thousand dollars. I m aware of the refurbishment program and I had my doubts in regards to the validity due to the fact that only a small amount of the U.S. population are aware of what gem’s the Z cars are. Before I enter into this project and invest any time effort or money I wanted to explore the idea with people who would have the best input and recommendations. Once again, there is an abundance of Z’s cars that are rust free and dirt cheap. All the mainstream collectible cars are gone due to the demand of the east coast and mid west. About the only line of cars that I can see are the Z’s. There are also a multitude of 50’s and 60’s that need restoration.
  9. 1. Look at the big brain on Kenshin!:stupid: Correct, this is Northern California. 2. YES, I am talking about 240's, 260's and 280's! 3. I'm from the east coast and I know they rust out there and that's why I came to this site to discuss the possibilities! 4. Your accusation of spamming is an insult! 5. That's the idea and I was simply asking what member opinions are on the subject. 6. I can only hope your attitude is not representive of the demeanor on this site.
  10. Okay, that's what I am getting at. Literally I could find hundreds of rust free Z's from the 70's. Just the other day I found a 1986 Turbo with 80K in EXCELLENT condition for $3500.00 You have not idea how cheap and nice the Z's are here in Northern California!
  11. Hi Steve, Thank you for you input, much appreciated. I agree with your views and have not yet decided how much time, money or effort I am willing to invest. Being a Z fan I could not help but to wonder if prices are this cheap across the country. I did not realize that Craigslist is as popular in other states as it is here in California. I'm going to start exploring other states listing to compare prices and condition. I also agree the collect ability of German, British, Italian sports cars and especially American muscle are in greater demand but I just can not understand why there is not a high demand for the rarest of the Z's? I sold Muscle cars from 1999 until 2004. I shipped clean rust free #2, #3, #4, cars to the East, Mid West and South. Unfortunately it has become a rich man's sport and the all the decent West coast cars have been plundered, except for the Z cars.
  12. Kidding about what?
  13. Hello, fellow Z lovers My 1st car was a 1981 280zx and I feel in love. My next car was a real find; i a 1976 280z with 60k original miles and a one owner. BtW: that was in 1991 and I paid $600.00. Since then I have owned a 1984 a 1990 TT and most recently a picked up a one Owner 1981 with 128K for $750.00. No rust or accidents and it had always well maintained. I was planning on restoring it back to new however; I prefer the early 240's and the early 280 body style so I just sold it in hopes of finding a 71. Here is my question. I live in Sacramento and buy and sell later model imports for a living. I am constantly finding clean rust free Z's dirt cheap. Are Z's readily available else where in the country and is there a demand that I can fill on the east coast. I'm looking forward to discussing this topic and meeting fellow enthusiasts. Cheers Aurelius
