You mean because I own a truck for work I get kicked out of the club? I have seen as many inconsiderate and careless people in 7 series BMWs as I have in Ford Super Duties. Not to mention if I started to treat trucks as enemies I might just as well stay home. I live in Idaho and a truck is the state rig.

Hi: my name is Alex and I have been a z-holic for one week now. Bought a nice clean and straight 240Z from a friend for $800. No major rust, the engine runs well (needs the carbs tuned though), and the interior is clean and uncut. No interest in restoring this car to pristine beauty but looking to build it up for back country rally racing. I look forward to pestering many of ya'll for help. I live in East Idaho with my wife of 9 years and my two dogs. I'm a network administrator for a local bank but prefer cars to computers. (Though I am in the process of installing a computer in my Z. :-D) BTW would installing Weber Carbs and a N36 intake improve my performance greatly over the stock carbs?

I do love living in East Idaho where the only thing you will be pulled over for is a Sierra Club sticker. ;-) Seriously though I don't know of anything they will pull you over for here. Recently came over a hill with my A4 doing about 90 and a state trooper saw me and just shook his head and pointed down for me to slow down. -I was driving over the desert with no trafic so don't flame pls.- Do ya'll know where I can find some covers?

So I could yank a 5spd out of a later 260 or 280 and replace it? How tough is that? I love the car otherwise. Having a street legal go-kart is a blast.

Just bought a 240z last week and am in the process of making it a bit more drivable. The shifter is ALL over the palce. Is there way to tighten it up? TIA Alex
