No intl licence needed... driven by American in USA Aussie in Australia Brits in UK French in 'HELL???????' ROFL One of the thing that could be done is a ground-up rebuilding, with lots of picts and explanation on the site... Chapter after chapter, month after month... We would all learn from this. It's not about driving, we mostly have (will have) a Z that's runing on it's one. It's more about a nice project and advertising for a great site with the best peoples from ALL OVER THE WORLD So who is in, I want names: ...

Once the car is built, nothing wrong about going for a world tour... There must be great open racing around... Yes it would have to be built in the sate, but imputs could be world wide, no? Maybe we should use the work setup in order to be abble to enter race worldwide... 1 pan-am 2 US vintage race 2 Le Mans Classic 3 Good-wood 4 Spa vintage 4 Aussie race 5 ... all we need is a go... :bunny:

Why don't we get together to build the ultimate race car? We have all the knowledge, brain and talent to do so. We are a lot on this site, so a few buck each for a real adventure? What a way to get toghether around a nice project with our club flag on it. Here what I think, let's plan to run a car in the 2004 Panam race in Mexico... it's open enough to express our wildest dream... Any imputs welcome... Fred
  6. 4,23$ :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: Well, it's mostly (90%) taxes, so I guess it's going to my free social system, too bad that in 12 years of activity I never had even a flew... :classic: :classic:
  7. Yep sir, been there, done that, it stink...

Do you know why the French have a Rooster for emblem? Because it’s the only bird that still sing with two feet in deep shit… Oh no French joke, please :finger:
  9. I propose to close this thread now, nothing more we can do. I really appreciate this debate and the way you gave me your opinion without any excess... The Z peoples are the best.
  10. Oh oh… don’t worry Stryder, I did too flanked a few class in my youth !!! In my case it was the English classes not the history one, too bad for the quality of our debate, I hate those Babel guys… So excuse me if I am not clear enough. We (you and us) are the nice guys, no doubts about it. What kind of friend would not tell you what he think when it’s really important? You can count on us because we are trustful !!!! The fact that we loudly honestly say what we think should prove it! And the under-cover facts could to an extend be excused by the final result… Nuke Sadam! As for Ivory Coast, it should be another thread... We are there because of a previous, in fact very old constitutional Ivorian amendment. Only to do a police job, feel free to go if you want… and to tell the truth we do care more about chocolate than coco… It’s been a few month and I didn’t see any political change… Iraq, yes we did help them, and it’s funny you bring that up. My dad used to work for SNECMA and GE, and he went there a lot of time on mission for GE. Remember that at that time we (you and us) where helping Iraq over Iran, do you? I am not saying, never did say that the Chirac position is correct. But you cannot make statement like what a politician does it what the country wants… so please Say “some French” not the French… As for the French military past, unfortunately we had more than our share of bloody victories, and I don’t think that any of our enemy ever said that they didn’t fear us! In fact, we have some kind of stinky record with our own Sadam. Napoleon was the biggest butcher Europe ( the world?) ever had, and believe me, at that time nobody would have said that the French weren’t bloody bastards soldiers… (nothing to be proud of…). That’s why we can say don’t do it (been there, done that, and it stink. After all, what he only wanted was to give freedom to the world and installing democracy on the planet, lot of country today still use part of his legal code!!!) I do not want to mention La Fayette here ‘cause the old “I did is first” is only about past not future. At his point of our discussion, I would like to trough a new twist. Parallel to the economic issue debated above, we have a data you have to understand. France and Germany have a huge active Arabic community. It’s not something you can take lightly. Imagine that tomorrow, the UN decide eradicate ALL MASS DESTRUCTION WEAPONS, including one used every day on all the planet “DRUG”. And that Europe want to start by South and Central America and say Mexico first, how would the suburbs of California? Texas? Florida… would react ??? I agree with Carl, verbalizing our sentiments is better than standing with the head in sand (you never know who is going to f…k you then!). So again, take your time, look at the facts and you will see that we do agree to 90% of the issue… It’s just the FINAL ISSUE we do not agree on. I really think that if Bush would have the guts to stop here and now, he would not be seen as coward or not knowing what he wants. THAT would give him a really god edge on the world and would give a new sense to the word “justice”. We DO have to get Sadam out, but I don’t think that a weak Iraq would be the thing to do with Iran around. More obviously he would be seen as a mature super power boss, really concerned by the wealth of our world. When you are as strong as you are you must be fair. Nothing wrong about pumping muscle, do you slap your kid every time they do something wrong? No I don’t think so. In my case raising the voice is enough… I have 4 kids and never had to do more than pumping muscle, that’s called respect I guess… and all my friends think my children are fun to have around! Well? My thoughts doesn’t weight a lot anyway, but what I really enjoy and want to protect is our ability to discuss thing like that openly with people of good will. So again we are family… If you go anyway, I wish you the best.
  11. Please god, protect me from my friends, as for my enemy, I will take care of them... Fred Caenfusius, beer philosopher ROFL ROFL
  12. I really don't think it's a matter of love/hate. You get more attention because a few of you asked for it! Not a long ago, in fact under Cliton era, the USA was seen as cool dudes working for the best of humanity, and the few tears that they gave us, was from laugthing so much at Bill's trousers life, remember this time, well it will come back one day. By the way, your neighbor are very quiet lately, hey Canada anybody home? Are you letting the US take all the heat? Those Canadian guys are rally good at it, they are INVADING Africa today while US take all the blame, now THATS what I call a smart move, well done "les cousins". Darwing said it, it's only the evolution of the world, Up one day, then... did you know that Irak IS the cradle of our civilisation, after all didn't Abraham's familly had a little house in the country there!!!!!! So really don't feel bad for a thing you cannot control, can you? I, Fred Caen think you are all a bunch of nice guys anyway... for what it's worth :D

  14. My opinion is very personal, and maybe too cynical for my fellow citizens. I believe that Chirac is not against the war and doesn’t care for right or wrong but do care for our business… I cannot blame him for that. I think he didn’t have a lot of options. See we backed you guys a few times and had peanuts after the crisis, you got the reconstructions deals not us! So, as an human being is not supposed to do the same mistake twice he decided this time to use an other option, after all we had not much to lose. Being against the war, he is seen as the white angel by the oppressed peoples… while Bush is seen as a demon. I think, like the Bush team, what he really care is the Gas deal, but rather for Total/Elf than for Texaco. He hope that the business that we lost in Africa will be replaced by new deal in the gulf area. I think the both bastards have a very short political vision… As for the Europeans, they are tired of all those wars, they had enough. Enough to KNOW that the betters options always are the one that last… and that politicians Always get he best deals over the Armed Force, always. Look at all those leftover soldiers from Vietnam, Korea, Even the last Gulf War. When it’s over who care for them, not too many and 10 years after you always find someone to dig up some filth, saying that it shouldn’t have been done like that (like they had the choice in the heat?). And always, you find a politician that will try to get some attention by giving some light on the past. So I think what the French want, is to save on that part, that’s called experience ! Too bad you guys didn’t say you where going there to liberate the poor little starving children of Irak, you would have had a golden weaver from ONU.
  15. It's just a song, nothing more. But I am still amazed by what we can do today so I want to share it with you!!! Don't worry too much about the content, theses guys spit on the whole world in their show... I hope we are mature enough to take it for what it is...and sorry really don't mean to be rude. So again this is nothing more than a "Satire" the salt and PEPPER of democracy, enjoy... http://www.montgomery-ouest.com/chanson.asx PS : Mike fell free to slab it if you think it doesn't belong here...

Well Russel, I have to confess that a few of us drive Bumper to Bumper over here, but unfortunately those #@!!§§§££ drive more around 100 mph :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: It's road terror, but you cannot do a lot about it (until the inboard radar, will give you the correct safe distance, as in the big Merc.). The only way we have to check the "safe distance" is to say twice in your head the world "crocodile" ????? The trick come from the police, can you believe it? space age tech... And by the way, Warning to all of you, France isn’t the road even it’s once was, the government is really concerned by our 8 000 lives/year… Speed traps everywhere.

You are so right Carl. It's not a money game, but more a engeniering game. And you know who they are those people that spend their time fixing trouble they created at first. So the money is only there to liberate their creativity... We have enough monotype formula around to give everybody their chance in this type of racing, F1 is like WRC an other type thats all. It's funny, with all that mind power, the more "restrictions" the FIA guys give to the teams, the faster the car goes the next season ?????? Just a tought, but what would look like a F1 today if the FIA didn't do any of those change : like a 6 wheeled vacumed moving flaps wing-cars with twin-turbo all automatic runing on monster slick tires... and doing warping time almost going in the past at each gas pedal pression.

Maybe the outsiders will shine more this year, I am thinking of Toyota, they are not there just for show they might be the one with the bigest potential outhere, plenty of money and as much (if not more) staff than Ferrari. They now have one decent driver and they now how to build a real race engine, not a qualifying one, but one that run all the laps... Could be fun, and don't worry Ferrari's fan it's still a red car...
  23. Woah, talking about facts... so I guess it will explode... right? Thank's, Fred
  24. :classic: Thank's that's a start. What I need is testimonial here. Any Z week-end racer on this site had "T" rating on their Z and suffer an horror story of blowing tire, runing at full speed :dead: :dead: :dead: ... Or you never had any side effect other than less than perfect handling :classic: :classic: ? thank you, Fred
  25. What tire speed rating are you using, most of the 225x60x14 left are of the "T" rating type, have any toughts about using "T" over "H" tire's rating ? I think that those tires are build with a slight( read big) tolerence, and you? Thanks for your help, as usual, Fred
