BRA....VO I am using a cap right now, and I am happy with that, as my toy is for track day fun. I have a question, I plan to cut one or maybe two holes in the dash under the cap, to have esay access to the tach, speedo and gauges. Is there anything wired on those parts of the dash that would prevent me of using my DREMEL to cut in the meat with the dash in the car????? Lazy Boomer

http://www.lerapporteur.fr/post/Peugeot-607-Paladine-de-Sarkozy It's a biomass 607 limo... (only hiccup, you need the manure of 150 horses to go one mile, hence this is not an escort, it's the fuel tank). The Z are for rebels... the Gendarmes used to have Alpines Renault for highway patrols... Today they use (a lot ) Subaru WRX http://news.caradisiac.com/La-gendarmerie-casse-la-premiere-Subaru-WRX

I never was a big fan of the past-president, a truly left winger without the guts to stand for it! Yet, as I look back I am quite respectful for his vision of foreign politic, the only thing he was any good at! Chirac was truly a man with lot of knowledge, bored by the every day bureaucratic work of the presidency! Sarkozy is truly a liberal and being so he is close to your system, but I think he will use it first for the sake of Europe, that can make sense! As for me, I want to thank him for not letting the Socialist come back again. I wish him the best, it's truly a new figure on our political theatre. A mini-Kenedy, I hope his taste for convertible Limo will pass him so!

You do know that we have a new President over here... (In France) How are you feeling about it? I am always curious do gauge other's point of view on certain matters! He does seem to like you a lot! You don't have to be irespectful on this one or the past to state your case, just plain, honest PERSONAL opinion!
  16. What about driving without thermostat?????????????

  18. I have the same trouble, may I run without thermostat for a while... things are longer to get when you want OEM around here?
  19. Is there a nicer T handle for the stock auto box? The 'thing" on the std 240z stink... I am stuck with the box for one year befor I can swap my 5 in it... I am not against spending a few $$$ in a better looking lever!

Thanks you both... When you say you took it out? You mean the whole unit? With the tank still on the car? As for the fuel pump wires... do they have a relay and I can just pop a fuel pump on it or are they just dumy wires?

I took the A/C off my 1972 auto 240Z. I took the rad out and the Compressor, I had to cut 2 wires at the fire wall, they are A/C related but I don't know exactly what they are in for? Yet they were connected to the canister in front of the oil filter on the A/C system. Took the A/C belt off. And now, the miss doesn't start, it crank OK, I can here the engine running on as long as I keep the key on crank... but stall as soon as I put the key back to run? I dont think there is any Hot wire from the one i cut, could it come from the belt being out and unloading the engine????????? In one word..... help:(

I am having a theme life I run my own business in an over-assisted country, I have 5 kids, 3 of them are triplets, my daily driver is one of the most sedate lookin' car in the world with a little twist so... 192 hp from a NA 1800cc (it's a Corolla TS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LCy8ZXeQns , when I feel like waking up the neighbourhood, I hop on my 1980 XS Tracker, a bike that's louder than most Harley and with a bold statement, ain't on earth to get bored! So I think that the paint of Ol'Yellow will be one of the most minimalist move I have done in the last 15 years:bunny: BTW I have been watching your car on an other forum, and I am glad were going the same path... life is too short, Z are too wilds to stay factory lookin'
