  2. Does the word 'interface" ring a bell to you guys? We use it in French to descibe the visual aspect of a PC/MAC software ex:Microsoft windows interface or DOS ascii one I have to translate it in Worldish English but cannot seem to find the right word! So is it the same ????? Merci

I was looking at a Matra Murena frame lately, and Paf it got me thinking again! The fibber-glass body is glued to the steel frame… Yes glued, the car is almost 25 year old now and still very sound and rock solid! So here's the old “What if” :knockedou Aren’t we going the hard way to repair big flat panel with welding when we could just treat the rust by cutting or POR15 and glue a metal sheet ? If the surface was wide enough, would it have the same strength? Where are we today on glue tech? Any 3M guru on this forum? Glue is everywhere today, and I bet aircraft and spacecraft use it more than we think, maybe it’s an area of improvement for us ?

  8. The one you are blaming are doing the job together with you in Afghanistan for that matter! And the last election was a nice symbol for democracy, but not a lot more than that As for IRAK, I haven't seen any evidence yet of Ussama and Sadam friendship??? Have you any new real info on this? I haven’t seen any mass destruction weapons either? :squareeye What kind of credibility does it give to our free world now ???? I don’t have more wisdom than you or anyone else, maybe broader info channels… US, European, North-African (Arabic!)… :paranoid: You have a strong point of view, fine with me. I am just wondering if you are aware of the state of hate that’s building against our world? :dead:
  9. When irony meet history... :stupid: The minister of Education asked this month for an enforcement of the teaching of German in French schools. We have today a “German” sphere building in Europe.. made with all the new country of the old “Eastern bloc”, most of them using German for trading. So if tomorrow one will maybe need to speak Spanish to go to the USA… One will also need to speak German to deal with northern Europe ????? All this without a single death… Money is 1000 times more powerful than guns ! It’s only when you get both mixed up that the #@%**§¤¤ start.

Carl, I have been quiet those last few month But I was watching... Maybe you could find the number of casualty the Spanish had in their country! They where striked in Madrid because they where the most vulnerable and because they where the easy target in your coalition...   I know where you stand, I have true respect for you !!! I think that you forgot to add them because they where not military but civilian... but hey they where on the US side !!!! So they also deserve RESPECT all 190 of them!

I never was a big fan of the ZX 2+2, but this one! It's strange, ain't a pretty car on picture, you need to see it live to get the most of it, while the 240Z have both, real and picturesque outstanding design! Am I clear

OK I know... but I needed an estate Z. Still have the Geisha don't worry booemr's ride
  14. don't get over exited... any inputs... Could be for an other trip, like Le Mans classic... or an other year... what would be nice is to install this exchange basis... an event in an other continent and you (me) at the wheel of a Z... My 0,2 cts of euro (almost 10$ by now...)

Not sure this will ever work, but we are setting up a trip from UK, Germany and all the northen country who will, to see Symon in Barcelona Spain via France. We don't have the firm date as today but it should be in May. I was thinking that it wouldn't be fair not to propose to all the Z fan to join! It's a long wet drive frome the States, from Aussie land or kiwi's country... but if your arround maybe we could find room in our cars... and you would do the same in return if you set up same trip for us? It wont be a canonball race, but more a spirited drive on our beloved nicest back-roads... So I can share my wheel... as today it's a slugish 280zx 2+2 but it's a nice looker, anyone for adventure?

  17. héhéhéhé... You'r welcome sir! If you need a place for "foie gras" or "Sauterne" just ask, it looks like it's gona be harder to get for ya than NLA S30 kits :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: Well I will just enjoy it for you then... Fred
  18. I am a big scale model fan. I have found most of my treasures in Japan www.hlj.com This is the best place I have found, they are very quick in shipping and most of their price are OK (if your a fan!). You may ask them to do some diging in for old kits nla. Frenchy Fred...

Hi, I was reading this post and I wonder if any of us use the Pantera deck? According to your theory, this should handle better? No rear lift?
  20. I would say about 1 inch rear and 1/3 smaller in front (enough to clear the ZX break calipper).
  21. should be around 0 offset... but I have spacers... so it's a bit off!
  22. Thank's to all, don't you dare come close to my engine bay... I alway have riot gun close to me just for that purpose!!!!! I am watching for all those punks... Ben, those are 7' in front and 7,5' at the rear, with 225 front and 235 rear... I have a set of Nissan Overfender to hide all this rubber.

Here is mine, an hungry set of 7 year old triplets... That's where I get all my power from! They make such a wonderfull sound when I feed them with the correct mixture... Gape juice (in a few years I might try to convert them to Bordeaux!!!! High hopes on this one!) Cheers, Fred
  24. Ask Rony where he get all his hapy-meals toys from????? I have 4 kids and those toys seems to be there forever now! Half of my computer is coming from china. I think that if most of the goods coming from there is junk, it's mainly becauses thats what we ordered... low cost trash. But when it comes to real tech stuff, they aren't the worse around. A few of my friend work there for GE or Peugeot/Citroën and they are building cars just as poorly as we do here. I think the issue would be to look for the best of them and to ask them quality, they still would be years ahead of us in term of final cost! And they could deliver it right in Vancouver or Seatle, when they visit their relatives with their one-way ticket... But why do I need a harness in the first place, I am not into bondage... I more traditional on those matters. My 2 euro cents (starting to make lots of US cents:ermm: ) Fred
  25. Let's face it, this is one a the few attempt for a realistic group project and this one deserve to see an end. Maybe we could do as the big cheese do and find a nice company “oversea” (way over, like in China?) to keep the cost low and affordable? I am thinking about parts needing more time than knowledge!!! Maybe if you design a nice Harness blueprint we could have a 100 set made for the club. Those peoples have fairly decent skills today! Same for the stainless steel parts, bumpers end other bits…
