I know I'm saying this all the time, but check your injector connector to make sure it's getting a good connection. It may very well be that it's just not getting a connection and not firing.

What exacltly does the "F" stand for?
  5. Well I got good news, it looks like we will be going as long as I can get Saturday off so it will allow us time to drive down!
  6. I know it just ended, but I thought this was really cool! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-240Z-260Z-280ZX-510-620-roadster-CUSTOM-T-SHIRT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6032QQihZ014QQitemZ330115330712QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
  7. I'm kind of curious about something. I've been calling around lately about and researching online for a new compressor, and it seems in order to maintain the warranty, you have to purchase a new drier. I guess I'm a little curious on why you need to do this to maintain the warranty.
  8. Looks great! I'd definitely get a black shift knob. Love the look of your car. What size and brand of tire are you running on it?
  9. If we're able to go, it will be Sunday as I work Saturday and I'm not sure if I would be able to get time off. I'm still not sure if we're going to be able to go yet as of now, but I'll let you guys know either way, sounds like a fun event.
  10. That's interesting, I didn't know anyhing about some of that stuff. Would love to hear more about these events and where they are!
  11. I was curious how many of you have registered (who live in the northwest) their car in the Datsun Driving Canby fun event? The reason I ask is because the registration ends May 10th. My dad and I are hoping we can do it this year. We learned about it from the Golden Gardens meet from a friendly 240z owner. Any how, if we can't make it this year we'll for sure make it next year and would love to see some of you guys and your cars who live in the Northwest!
  12. Thanks for the pictures and the link, very cool site! I found this site that sells remanufactured units and showed and might be a good way to go too. I'll keep you updated on what we do. http://www.directauto.com/category-exec/category_id/43/search_year/1976/
  13. Turns out the piston inside the compressor is frozen up, but for some reason still spins free? It was at a shop today in to get the a/c charged. From what I've been told, it sounds like it would be a whole lot of money to have it rebuilt if I could find somebody to do it but haven't had any luck on finding anybody to do it and was told by everbody it's not worth it even if I did. I did however find a used one for $50.00 that's not seized up or anything, so I might buy that and have new seals put in it.

    No, there is not.
  15. Well what do you guys think, should I put mine back on or just leave it off?
  16. Just out of curiousity, what kind do you have on yours? Do you have a picture?

Thanks again for the info guys, I will have to check this out on the weekend. I should have specified that only one horn (I'm pretty positive) only worked as it sounded like it was only comming from one side of the car and was pretty quite.
  18. Those are the same mirrors that I have on my car. I think they look great and will look nice and sharp when it's painted and go quite well with the look of the car. They mount with two screws. I had to dril the holes for them on either side, but that wasn't a problem.
