Water leakage problem
Thanks, I wish you could too! Well, my dad called the place that I was going to take it Wednesday, but they said for some reason, they can't look at it. I don't know the details. Anyway, I called up the guy that we had fix a lot of rust on it two years ago, and he said we could bring it in this weekend to have him look at it so I think that's what were going to do. One way or the other, this water leakage problem and the rust issue is going to be fixed!:nervous:

Water leakage problem
Update, I took into Z-Specialties and got a quote for $985.00 to have the remaining rust fixed. My dad believes this is a little over the top, what do you think? My dad just talked today to an auto shop that does repair work, and they said to bring it in, so I'm going Wednesday to get another quote. I'll let you know what they say.

240Z values in rust belt - 2007
I'd spray the car (or pay to have it done) so the car is all one color and also put those bumpers on, I think seeing it with bumpers would grab people's attention with them on a little more rather than with them off so they know exactly what they're getting. Alot of the time it seems the appearence of the car can be the selling point for some buyers, especially when the buyer only gets to see it on his computer screen. I think having it be all one color would grab people's attention more rather than seeing two or three different colors on the car and people considering it to be more of a parts car or more of a restoration car than it really is, therefore possibly making people not want to pay as much for it. I guess what I'm saying is when people see pictures of it, they might be willing to pay more for something that looks like it hasn't been tampered with something that's more original complete ect, it's hard to explain and it's a bad explanation, but maybe you get the jist. I'd also set a reserve and put it on Ebay and see what happens. Anyway, hope this helps and good luck-Austen.

I see thanks for the info, was this factory original on these cars?

Quick 240z question
On most all of the 240z's that I've seen have some type of foam wrapped around what appears to be the fuel lines with zip ties it looks to be. I haven't noticed this on any of the fi cars, so I assume it must have something to do with the carburators. Please excuse me if this is a stupid question. Here's what I'm talking about for reference

Fuel injection chip?
Last time I was there and I asked him about them, he said some were in for repair from customers, but most were used for parts. I'd say there's probably over 50.
