New Knight Rider Series
Here's a little segment of the cars that'll be in the new Knight rider on Jays garage. At the end, Jay takes the KR for a spin and does some slides at the end. http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/video/video_player.shtml?vid=215960

Do people notice you in your classic Z on the road?
On my home from work today, I pulled up to a stoplight next to a 350Z with the top down and the guy in the passenger seat yells at me so I roll the window down and he says he likes my car and said he owned a 240 and a 260z and I told him the 350Z was cool too. Then as he pulls away he yells "Cya Z dude"! and gives me the thumbs upLOL, nice to see someone in a 350Z show some love to an older Z:D

Door panel year question
Thanks, that would explain it since mine is an early '76.

Door panel year question
Hmmm. I measured the one on my car and it measures 37.5" and 20.5" down across, so it's actually just a big longer than this one but the same lenght going down. Here I lined it up with the one on my car and you can clearly tell that the holes for the door luck do not line up.

Door panel year question
I've got this spare right side door panel in our garage that I'm planning to put up on Ebay and see what happens because I have no use for it as it doesn't line up or fit my car. It measures 3ft' across and 20.5" down. I was wondering by chance if you guys knew what year(s) and what models (2+2 maybe) this fits as it's obviously not for a '76 280z. Thanks guys, I appreciate it!

Too much weight reduction?
How are you driving in the rain? Do you mean it's hard to keep traction when corning hard or braking and acclerating? I've never once had any trouble stopping or corning in the rain, but like with any car you can if you're driving aggressivly and doing it on purpose.

My little weekend project, fixing up and painting a valve cover
Thanks! I was thinking today it would be fun to clear coat it, but I don't think I am. I'm sure there are better ways of doing it, but that's just the process that I did and was glad with the way it turned out.

My little weekend project, fixing up and painting a valve cover
Thanks guys! The paint code on the can is called "DE 1615 Aluminum". I just got it at Schucks, so any auto parts store will have it. I'll put a few more coats on it and I'll put it on later this week and snap a couple pictures.

My little weekend project, fixing up and painting a valve cover
I had an extra valve cover in the garage that wasn't to pretty, so I thought I'd fix it up as best I could to get it back to looking stock and thought it would make a fun little weekend project. It was pretty oily and greasy along with what appeared to be some oxidation on the outside. I degreased the inside of it with engine degreaser with small wire brushes and got the inside looking much cleaner and then flushed it out thoroughly. I then wet sanded the outside of it with 1000 grit sand paper to clean up the oxidation and smooth everything out. I painted it with Dupli color engine enamel, the closest match that I could find to be original. Any how, I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. I'm debating whether or not I'm going to replace my polished one with it or not. After a few more coats, I think I'll put it on and see how I like it. This is the one that's on my car now. Which one do you think would be the better looking one on it?

If you build it, they will die.
I don't see why I wouldn't be able to enter my car in the show this year. Maybe one of you guys could send me some info on how you register and such.

The oddest Z car conversion I've ever seen- the Spartan.
Wierrrrd. Must be the wierdest kit for these cars ever made. Reminds me of one of those Zimmers or Excaliburs.
