I got a massive problem with condensation. What can i do to clean it up? a mate of mine tried to tell me to run metho through it but i dont think thats healthy for the engine. Ive run some spitfire through it but i still get more than a bit of white smoke plus lots of water. Before you say it, its not fuel ive checked nor is it blue smoke so i know its not oil. This supprised me as the car had not been started in ages before i got it. When i gave it the first kick in a long time there was a huge cloud of smoke but its nowhere near as much as it was but i want to get rid of as much as i can:rambo:

ive never seen points on a 280ZX i wish mine had them. Its impossible to replace the IC module in Australia (nissan wanted to charge me $800 to get one from Japan)

The Haynes manual has complete wiring diagrams from 77 to 83 its not as good as the gregorys manual ( you have to seek a second hand book ) but it is based on complete teardown and rebuild. Its fairly cheap i paid $50 Australian for mine so its probably available for $20 US

I would agree that your seals may be the problem. If you are going to go to the expense of new seals you may want to consider stainless steel seals. They dont crack and last virtually forever, best if you want to use LPG instead of petrol.

im not sure what the 240 is like but when my 280 would not kick i found the problem laid in the ic module (Hitachi12-92) when i changed the dizzi the problem was fixed but i would overhaul the whole fuel system to make sure. Im probably wrong but i hope this helps you

Im left scratching my head trying to figure out why the lights on my instrument cluster will not turn off. Also the headlights have high beams but not low beams, the globes look good but how can i test to make sure its not a ground problem? any constructive advice will be apreciated
