70 model pcv hose
Hey guys, I just want to make sure I'm putting this on right (can't find my diagram). Does the pcv hose goes from the tube extending from the block to the pcv thats on the intake manifold? ....is that right.

Tool compartment doors
Real quick question.......On the plastic tool covers does the large cover go on the drivers side or passenger. I can fit both on each side, but completely forgot where the small one and the big one go. Also, after installed do you still see a gap on each side. If anyone has a photo please post one. Thanks, Randy

Konig wheel center question
I put the Konig rewinds (15") on the car the other day and the wheel centers snapped right on the rear wheels, but the front will not go on at all. It seems the front centers are just barely being kept from snapping on by just a few mm's. Will I have to take the wheel off and find some type of spacer to go behind the wheel? Or is there another way that may be easier. Anyone ever have this problem? Thanks for any assistance.

Need a "Mod Police " ruling....
Hey Wally, I have a lot of photos, however I haven't posted many yet as I was waiting to get finished. I don't have #3324, mine is #797, but it is white and blue like yours. Send me a PM with your email address and what photos you may need that might help with your car. Look forward to seeing your 240, here's a recent shot of mine but I still have a few weekends left........Please ignore the dirt, missing wheel center, missing rubber, etc. With a broken ankle my progress has been almost halted.

1973 240Z Refreshtoration – 901 Silver
I really like the darker blue on the engine, it looks perfect with the CAD yellow pieces. Your "refreshtoration" is starting to looking like a "restoration".........

Need a "Mod Police " ruling....
Thanks mgmoreau, This board, or I should say all these great folks here have helped me with so much I could never say thanks enough. My mechanical skills are some what lacking, and yet I can fix most of my issues (usually) because of the knowledge that this site provides, so in a way it's my way of giving back. To all those getting parts they went out today via Priority mail, no worries on postage. Also, most parts are gone but when I go through some more boxes I may find some more stuff. Cheers, Randy

Need a "Mod Police " ruling....
Johnny P, datsun emblem is still here, shoot me a pm with your address and I'll get it on its way. Ivygreen, I will send you the window cranks and shift boot. The boot has a tear but you could use some silicon or other sealer, it would certainly be better than nothing. The other pieces are already gone from an earlier pm. Send me your address and i'll get them out. Ivy....just noticed your in Knoxville, feel free to drop by or I can mail them. Here's an update on whats gone. See the crossed out items in photo and add the outside door handles.

The door opener pieces are gone. Also found the rear hatch "datsun script" but the pins are broken off the back so you would have to tape/glue it on.

Need a "Mod Police " ruling....
Thanks, I forgot about the 'pay it forward" thread. Well, here are a few items that I will never need (hopefully) and if they can help others just let me know. It will just be on a first come basis, if you want something first poster has first dibs. PS....A shameless plug, but I am still looking for a map light lens and cover. I have the white housing.

Need a "Mod Police " ruling....
As the restoration of my 240 draws to a close I am left with numerous misc parts. I would love to trade for things I don't have or help other Z folks with something small but wasn't sure if the mod police allow that type of listing in the open forum. I'm not wanting to sell stuff or I would post in the classifieds, but would love to start a parts list of left over stuff for others if its deemed appropriate. EDIT...see below for some parts, if interested just let me know.

1973 240Z Refreshtoration – 901 Silver
Gary, Here's a link to an old post of mine regarding my experience and cost with Maaco. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30772&highlight=maaco I used the base/clear (which is their most expensive). Hope this is not considered a "thread jack" but thought you may find other info helpful if your considering Maaco. However remember they are all individually owned so quality may differ. Good luck, PS.......Motorman 7, the car looks GREAT!

24 months of intensive restoration, and I'm almost done.
Hey Jared, Great seeing you today at the Z car show, the 240 looks amazing (and sounds great). I had no idea you were selling it, if I had known I would have acted interested in hopes of a test drive........ j/k Looking forward to your article in Excellence, and the upcoming GT3 / Boxster Spyder showdown on the Dragon. See ya on the 6th, Randy
