  1. Today, Bristol-Myers Squibb, the pharmaceutical monolith that charges nearly $1000 for a 30 day supply of one of its HIV/AIDS medications, is donating $1 to the National AIDS Fund for each person who simply visits their website and "virtually lights a candle." Please, please take 3 seconds to "light a candle" http://www.lighttounite.org
  2. Interested in the 73 tail lights. How much shipped to 94549? Might be interested in the tool kit if you still have it, passenger and driver windows and the quater panel windows if all in good shape. Thanks.
  3. Alright, with work and doing side jobs, I've had very little time to work on both the 240sx and the 240z. As of now I just want to get rid of the rust areas on my 240z and leave it alone until I finish my 240sx completely. I was planning on sand blasting but I dont want, have the time, and extra money to have it done by a shop or renting/buying a sandblaster and compressor plus other misc. parts. So I was thinking of just getting a sander and a wire wheel for some hard to reach areas and remove most of the rust and paint. But I havent been able to figure out the process (lack of extra time). So what should I do with the car this winter? I dont want to leave the rust on the car cause I know that will just be a horrible time to fix. Should I sand, wire-wheel, then por15 and primer? Note: The car wont be in storage but I plan on having it on jack stands and putting a thick cover and tie it.

Thanks Ramses. It actually didnt have the rust until I had it towed to my place. It was about an hour drive in the rain. I plan on doing something about the rust today.

I havent done a complete check. I washed off the rain water and wiped it down. Im not sure what Ill be doing with the rust since its my biggest concern (if you watch the 240z project on mull.tk). But, as of now I plan on either sanding it off and primering or have it sand blasted and either apply por15 or some primer. I just found out that mmagnus had a really nice z around my area (Lafayette). Hope he could give me some pointers.
  7. Hey Mark. Congrats on your new 911. I should have been on the forum earlier so I could have checked out your former 240z. I just bought mine yesterday and Im probably local (also live in Lafayette near Happy Valley elementary school). I need some parts for the car and was wondering if you still had extra you mind selling? Anyways hope to see you around and with another z.

Hey everyone. Bought my 1973 240z Nov 26, 2006. I bought it as a rolling chasis. It had a v8 placed but removed when I bought it. My plans for it will come next year, as for now I will either sand it and primer so the rust doesnt spread and eat through the metal. Heres how it is in my barn. (56k bewarey)
