i heard a lightened fly wheel isnt that good because it slows the rotational mass/inertia by allot so my rpm's will drop lower faster i had one before but then i read on other sites about the bad part of having one so i got skeptic about it so i gave it to my friend who gave it to me for some odd reason neither of us want to use it .......but ill try to get the clutch act is 40 minutes away from where i live so i either just call them or drive down there

you guys think thats bad i have some stories too man im about to go through my 7th tranny on my z in 2 year ive had nothing but bad luck on my car for about 5 months now first my rear end busted and i had to change everything for the new one then my engine blows now my tranny wont go into any gear unless i force it in and i busted my wrist today because i tried to force it into first to take off from a light and it threw it back and forced my hand back im gonna have to tear her open tomorow and see why its happening i seem to have good pedal pressure but it wont engage any gear with out some rough love

act you say ok i have had some good expiriences how much did it cost and where did you get it cause i went through theire web site and i came up ampty handed in my searches with them i went as far as 78 280z and nothing it says no products available

i was looking into getting a new hi-performance clutch for my 73 but all i found was clutch masters and centerforce but what ive heard from people that have own the centerforce is that it feels stock to a regular clutch i never pent my money on a hi-performance clutch from them for that reason and clutch masters is just to expensive for me plus i dont realy like their brand i was looking into an exedy clutch off of a s14 what do you guys thing heres the stats on the both clutches SILVIA Year: 94-on Application: S14, 2.0 Ltr SR20DE, DOHC Non Turbo ( 255mm PCD ) Size & Spline OD x No of Teeth: 225 x 25.5 x 24 Standard Clutch Kit Clutch Kit: NSK-7455 Spigot BRG/Bush: PB-22 Flywheel Profile: Flat Model: 240Z - 260Z - 280ZX - 300ZX - 350Z Year: 70-74 Application: 240Z, HS, HLS30, 2.4 Ltr, 260Z, RS, GRLS30, 2.6 Ltr Size & Spline OD x No of Teeth: 225X25.5X24 Spigot BRG/Bush: PB-22 Flywheel Profile: Flat last time i checked on the web site it had the same clamp load on both clutches but i think i would have to use a new pressure plate for the clutch disc cause i dont know if the s 14 one bolts on

maybe its the buzzer it self cause i have carbon fiber bucket seats in my car and i still have that problem with that buzzer sometimes so i just left it disconected try doing the simple checks on your car first like the door switches or the seat sensor disconect them and they wont make that noise again mine just did it when i hit a pretty big bump so i have it off and sometimes it actualy wouldnt turn off they are very old so id check those things

i used the crane cams xr 3000 and to me it works better than the other things my mechanic has instaled i hate dealing with ignition systems but this was so simple to instal and worth it my car got a great boost in spark and power by just adding the xr3000 and the taylor wires ive had it in my car for about two years and i only had one problem i melted my distributor cap but it was the cables fault the coil wire wouldnt stay in it would slide off slowly so it increased the gap size on the cap and wire so it melted it so i just cut off the rubber boot around the cable and stuck it all the way in but no problems with the ignition the only other thing is its $150.00 kinda pricy but worth it

i changed the starter on mine and i have a yellow top optima battery but some how my wiring got all screwed up my car wont start and my lights wont work im just gonna give up ant take it to an electritian they will know whats wrong with it cause if i cant fix it im gonna have to put in a painless wiring kit from a chevy since thats the cheapest ones they make

where is tha starter relay cause i have the same problem with my car i went on a 2 hour drive to motorsports in orance county just to find out the part i was looking for was not in stock but they gave me a free used one and its the acc relay i guess cause it clicks but my starter wont crank or make any noise so i would greatly apreciate knowing where it is my z has gave me lots of trouble lately she's not showing me any love lately imalso waiting on a new starter since mine busted after i had it tested

i dont know if you guys thought of using a fog machine inside the z that might help to determine where the leak enters from its better than that maguyver idea of using duct tape and card board and 30 other things............very simple fog machine,cord,car on jack stands so u can go under tha car and check there also and you can find the leak from every wich angle

wel i got the engine to run last week it ran good but the mechanic that fixed it didnt know how to adjust the su's but it sounds like it has good power now i just need to find out what happened to my electrical stuff cause nothing wants to work

i have the 73 head.. cause my car was all original when i bought her off the original owner... but you know how young kids want to go fast and look good so i started adding parts to it so its not so original anymore but the engine wasnt swaped out for the fancy turbo set up or a big v8..... i wanted to keep the original engine in there for as long as i could after all we had together !!! but shes an early 73 ...... so what do you suggest run an electric pump and use a block off plate

thanks guys i'll try to see whats up with my z... lately its freezing in there but i think it may also have to do with my heater core it used to leak a bit and now it doesnt so i believe that now it is cloged.. so..... i might have to buy or repair the one i have..... that has to come after my engine instal since she blew up after a show down in the mountains

i have some good kill stories ...every thursday night theres the local street racing scene that always hangs out well for some starnge reason in 05 my car was the only one most people recognized as a monster z my car club legend z would go out and i was the only person that never lost out of my club heres my list of cars ive beat then ill list what i have done 55 bel air this guy works at a race shop beat him every week for 3 months this guy got more sorry every week the last race was 6 cars.. 98 camaro suposedly 14 second car he lost by 3 cars 01 cobra he lost as soon as i went into third by 2 cars focus svt 8 cars i bet it wasnt svt 76 chevelle on the freeway i lost him in my rear view mirror then i saw him at the races and he got mad at me and said it wasnt fast well he lost when he challenged me again 2 honda preludes vtec 5 cars behind me lancer the good ones but this was in a mountain race so that doesnt really count as much non turbo 97 supra on the highway he lost by two cars he couldnt catch up for 3 miles 02 mustang and a 01 camaro goin at it on the highway i entered the race and i won the mustang but me and the camaro went at it for about 4 miles head to head but i lost when it started to drizzle in wich water is my z's worst enemy even with my rain tires ....then i got pulled over and had my liscence suspended for a year ...........so now i only race it on track and heres a list of the cars i lost to also 02 subaru wrx z32 twin turbo 94 toyota pick up truck with super charger 06 gti golf turbo 2.0 71 z with a 350 that i worked on (damn you chato) my mods just a new header some vacum hose rerouting crane cams distributor kit i believe xr 3000 posi rear end aero dynamics (spoiler kitand headlight covers) used to run 15.49 now runs 13.92

what kind of honda heater did you use ?off of wich car? cause my car is freezing and i need some heat cause my wife never wants to ride in it at night
