I had a idea today. Which which would you rather have and why, a Aluminum Chin Spoiler or one made out of Fiberglass? Aluminum is a little heavier but more durable and fixable. Fiberglass is lighter but cracks easier.

I know I'm missing this somewhere but what is the Tranny type numbers for a 77 280Z 4spd and 5spd and also for the 81-83 280ZX? I know there they are Type B transmission but dont know what number designations they had or part numbers they were called like " FWxxxB " or what ever for example. 1977 Type B 4 speed Fxxxxx 1977 Type B 5 speed Fxxxxx 1981-83 Type B 4 speed Fxxxxx 1981-83 Type B 5 speed Fxxxxx What are the x numbers? Need to know to see if Custom gear ratios can be made. Thyanx ~Z~

Nothing wrong with making money. I just hope he don't have the same mind set if he finds serial number 1 and figures theres more money in parts, thats all. Never good to see a Low Vin of any car parted out when it could be, should be, saved. Imagine if it was a 1968 Camaro, you know how many people would be outraged over that? I'm only saying, since they have so many other later year S30 Z's, at least sell the whole car at a more resonable price so ANYONE can fix it and save it since they know it is a low vin car and not simply be so relaxed and content about letting it get destroyed and what I finally fear is it's fate, crushed. Lesson learned, yes Avoidable all together regardless of who owns it, still yes ;) Unless someone decides it's better off destroyed.... ~Z~

Are you Serious??????? They really wanted 10K for this!!!! ???? I'm noted at all pffened my friend. He told me he had sold it when I finally got the spare cash to spend on it 8 months ago but he said he already sold it to a guy in the neighboring city. I asked he still had the cantact info and he said no, then I asked if he remembered the guys name at least, since we live in a small town, and he said he couldn't recall it. These dudes want $250 for a fender, ONE FENDER! And way overpriced on the other stuff. They just want to get to sum of what they priced on the seperat pieces and think that i'll fly when I asked how much for the car. Actually they want $3,200 now and I've seen this car in the weeds and at my friends shop when brought it in and theres is nothing on worth keepin at all, it's a complet resto project as nothing in or on it is resuable. All the underpinnings are not even safe to use on a road car, it's been outside uncovered since the early 90's or late 80's. So I figured it would be in good hands at least getting restored or at the vary least saved be some one in the community. Now it turns up 50 miles away in a different city all together being sold for parts :mad: ! This jus chaps my azz, excuse the language :paranoid: ~Z~

There's some Cat out there who has my precious little #1678 now and selling it has a parts car. They want 3 Grand for it! thats right $3,000 for the whole thing!
