  1. Hi Bro and Thyanku for your help. These actually belonged to member Fun_In_My_Z and the all said American Racing as far as i know. I've been looking for old American Racing brochures and no luck finding any of those brochures either.
  2. Man. Called American Racing too, or rather wat ever "vender" i could get hold to, and they helped nothing. Guess they didn't like it either Are there any good places Arne or someone who like stashing rims u might be able to reference me too?
  3. Yeah i wrote him on inbox, waiting to hear back from him . Tried to buy them before but didn't specify a price. He went back to the new owner and he said the guy said no. I'm hoping a grand will get him to budge. The one one my Z are 14x7 while most I guess are 14x6. The ones on the photo above are by American Racing and according to the vintage 1970's catalog i was read to came in 3 sizes, 15x7 15x6 and i wanna say the other one was a 14 something. The ones I like are 15x7. Really i'll take only one in hopes of finding the other 3 down the road. Don't understand why is this rim so RARE for being an American Racing wheel. No really, WHY?? re are the other wheel warehouse are vintage collectors who might have them??
  4. OK, I'm placing a $1,000 REWARD on this rim NOT this rim but THIS RIM RIGHT HERE See the difference? I need the one with the Slant lip or Deep Dish Lip. What kind of lip is this called btw? The rim for as a heard is an American Racing wheel model called GT MAG according to an old brochure that was read to me. I really would like to have this rim please and can't find it anywhere but on the car Fun_In_My_Z sold Anyone with any leads please call me Day or Night at 530-701-1244 Thyanx ~Z~ and more info on them can be found here http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?37221-Per-Spec-mag-16x7-group-buy-idea!&p=393626#post393626 and http://www.facebook.com/groups/TheZGang/

Hi all! Started a new thing on Facebook called Datsun Parts and Needs. May be worth checking out http://www.facebook.com/groups/327981873903624/ Just another way to help keep us Z guys connected. Spread the word as it's open invitation
  8. Try AKHwheels.com at 509.929.2776 look at the center caps section. This guy seems to find or reproduce alot of rare vintage stuff so you may have luck there. Or hopefully he can help find what you need.
  9. Thanks Dave thats the answer i was looking for. No matter wat size it is as long as they look the same. Thank you
  10. Thyanx Arne and I agree. But i'm really having troulbe finding another set AT ALL. But what im really thinkin about is gettin them in order to have more copies made from them. i.e. molds or what ever. I realze it's not a populare style but i can get at least five sets out of this, for my own personal use, then i think that might and i do mean MIGHT be woth it. How much is resonable for a not so rare core btw?
  11. Does the same hold true in regards to the spokes if ONLY the rim size is changed? Per say the difference between a 13, 15 and 16 inch rime size are the spokes the same thickness, depth etc?
  12. Searchin the internet now for a wheel company that can make these btw. Because if they're not 15's then i want some made and in a variety of sizes. Hoping a company out there can help me. :/
  13. Will do Arne i'll pass that on. If they are 15's, regardles of taste, do you think they're worth wat he's askin? If not what sounds right, in your opinion?
  14. Thyanks i will. Been planning this for way to long now. Got to the point where i might aswell do it.
  15. Well i decideid to get these NGK Stickers made. Should be out in 2 months
  16. After about 2 years of searchin i finally found them! Dude says they're not Amreican Racing but they're 15 inches by, what he says, 4.5 or 5 inches wide, AND he wants $900 for them. OUCH!!! If coud get these i can make the rim wider into a 7 inch or even 8 inch wide version.
  17. Where can i find or does anyone have an American Racing ARE wheel catologue from the 70's? Tryin to find one with a wheel called a GT Mag in it. Looks like this, with the slant lip.
  18. I don't know but that Front fender Looks PRETTY DAMN KOOL! Heck the car is pretty sic. I'd be interested in possibly copying that if your up to it. Can't say i've one, almost Speed Racer'ish. Any history on it from the previous owner?
  19. Any part marked Honda . Or a MSA "Twinkie Bus" front spoiler . . . . (you know what i mean). !!

Porche 914 or a Triumph GT6 I've driven the Porche 914 recently and i Loved it! Very nice car but i Like the lines of the GT6 better.
  21. just sayin i like lines of it. The hood and front end, grille and lights, in particular . Not sayin it's a 240ZG but for it's time era not bad. But as for the quality of the car, being a "K" design, i wouldn't doubt it
  22. Yeah i'd go with the Aluminum Rad and Chrome Electric Fan from MSA. Can't go wrong with that . And get a new Thermostate that they recommend for use with that Rad in your heat too. And ask about mounting brackets for the Electric fan. My Z runs this set up and it never goes part halfway on the Temp Gauge and is Burried to the Left on the Freeways
  23. Yeah allow would cheaper to make and fix. Just hammer it out. But but the one i have in mind would have to attach to the stock lower Valance so if the spoiler takes a hit most likely it will damage the lower valance too. And yes it's the initial mold for fiberglass that gets pricey but the product that comes from it are consequently cheap.
  24. Hi Blake Long time no see ! Your right. Need to find a fiberglass mold maker. I know of one already to tell the truth, but i'm doing a Grille in aluminum as well and thought a spoiler might work too. It'd be interesting to see those SPARKS FLY on race day with such a spoiler scraping the ground all the time. Bad idea!
  25. Reason i ask is i'm thinkin of reproducing a spoiler. Not sure if Aluminum, tho pretty when all polished up, would be a good idea or not :/
