i took it to a mechanic... and then got a second opinion... and the fuel system needs completely replaced, half the wiring, a new exhaust system is needed, and for that matter for all we know the engine is completely seized up. :paranoid:
no money back from the guy. its guys like that who ruin the name of the other decent poeple. the hood is in good condition, along with most of the body. i'd be willing to part it out if i knew what i was doing at all... i don't really have a male figure in my life so i can change oil, tires, air filters... and thats it.
so.. i just bought a 1977 280z... my first purchase for 400 dollars, i intended to just get it running to get to work, and it turns out that the guy who sold it to me and told me it needed the coil and wires put back in to run lied... so, in short, i need to know how to get rid of it... help would be appriciated, i'm near spokane washington... thanks!
i know its gonna take some work, but that 3000 is the best i can get at the moment. i beleive it will stretch a little further than usual because i have a freind in town who is willing to teach me to do the work for the price of parts if i work on his schedule. and i will be heading to college within a year or so for automotive. this car is kinda my future right now. as for you Gary glad to find someone so close, i live up in deer park. next step is finding a job '
