Z Restoration Progam
Typical? I'm amazed how you can reach into someone's mind a read their most inner thoughts. My comment was not predicated on the accuracy of the document itself, but simply how an offer to the Z community from a long time member was treated. It is apparent that tact is not your strong suit. Mike has built a business and spent much time and effort creating reproduction parts to keep our Z cars on the road. The fruits of his labor are actually tangible, and are not just S30 esoteric factoids meant to bloviate.

Anyone seen these seat covers?
Looks to be a custom creation. My first though is to look for a upholstery shop in the Latino part of your town.

Checking in...It's been long time.
Welcome back from a member of the Class of 2002! I miss the old days of Enrique S., Bambikiller 240 and others that have left us over the years.

How To Adjust Choke Cable In A 72 240Z
The choke light is controlled by a simple button switch held in place by two small screws on the choke lever assembly. The light comes on when the choke lever is lifted and the small spring-activated button is allowed to pop out. My guess is that the switch is loose and the small screws need tightening. You also may want to tighten the nut on the choke level to ensure it keeps the button held down. Hopefully nothing is broken inside because a NOS replacement is pricey. https://jdm-car-parts.com/products/datsun-240z-series-2-choke-lever-switch-nos

To Be Or Not To Be - Harada That Is!
The one on the right looks to be a Harada Model HA-100, which is a replacement antenna for the S30. The HA-100 typically had a cylindrical versus pointy tip.

Z's on BAT and other places collection
Yup. I created a post on August 17th. After the auction, I was ready to contact the BAT police to report an incident of grand theft auto!!! Frankly, I was a bit surprised the seller agreed to the lowball reserve BAT offered up to place this car on the auction block. The buyer got the deal of the year snagging a blue chip example for less than half it would cost to embark on a 240Z restoration of this caliber today.

Engine Compartment Splash Pan
I have a love/hate relationship with those splash pans 😫 Too many episodes of dropping a screw or washer, hearing it hit the pan and then vanishing into oblivion.

Still struggling with car at idle after 8 years
I believe so. FWIW... I have found those OEM choke cable boots problematic over the years in terms of causing extra friction and making it difficult to ascertain free movement. If you don't have a partner to serve as an extra set of eyes, I would find a way place your phone under the carburetors and film while you move the choke lever back and forth to check for free play and if both cables are moving equally.

Early 1974 260Z
Another overlooked source for reference is the photo gallery on Bring a Trailer. https://bringatrailer.com/datsun/260z/?q=260z It is home to countless 260Z interior photographs, many of which are unmolested original examples with super low mileage.

Good bellwether of a softening market. 75K was the highest bid it got at a Mecum auction last month as well.

Pulled the Old Gal out of the garage to sweep out the dust bunnies underneath. Bonus...no fluid puddles on the concrete 👍

73 240 No spark
It might be worth the expense to locate a mobile mechanic in your area and have them make a house call. Sometime having another person to bounce ideas off of may result in a breakthrough. Also... Are you in Vancouver WA or BC? Perhaps a member of a local Z club live nearby that could lend a hand. It might be worth searching online for one.

73 240 No spark
Yes. Just turn the ignition enough until you see the point open upon reaching the high point of one of the lobes . While at it, check the point gap too.

73 240 No spark
I would look at the ballast resistor for starters.
