So I've got some *bad* pics, they're a bit blurry. The tires on these 14 x 5 rims are P195/70R14 90s....will these tires be to big for my stock z? But the whole lot plus 4 new tires bfgoodrich radials, is $200....

cool, I'll let them go, then. I think I'd have issues. Still waiting for these photos of these stock rims, I'd like to know if the curb rash can be buffed out.

So the guy with the 'stock' rims were off a 73 240z, my mistake! He hasn't got me photos yet. Here's the link for the 14 x 7's on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320415142050&viewitem=&sspagename=rvi%3A1%3A1v_&category=43954 My current wheel is 14 x 5, would the extra two inches lessen fuel economy? And what sort of price would be decent for these....

So I'm looking to get some rims for my 72 240z, and have two options right now. The first is a set of stock rims from a 74 260z, aluminum 4 slot, slight curb rash, and the second is a set of 14 x 7 basket weave (possibly appliance wheels) from a 72 240z, no curb rash. Don't know anything about cars, just want to get ones that fit for the right price, and look good. Thoughts? J.

ok, you're gonna have to forgive the car novice, but I've noticed a discrepency between car weights for the 77 280z, on a thread in this website someone stated the weight was 3185 lbs, where as on edmunds.com they state the 75 and up (including the 77) weighs only 2875lbs. What is the actual weight of the 77 280z, and what did they add to the car apart from the heavier bumpers to bring it up to that weight compared to the 240z? thanks for thy patience J.
  10. Hi. I'm a car novice looking to buy my first 240z but the one I'm looking at is an automatic. Is it difficult/expensive to swap it over to a manuel? J.
