Are you absolutely sure you got the correct master? I believe the rod may be different from "newer" models. I do know the 71 vs. the 72 model years are different. I ordered one some time ago and was sold the wrong one. Didn't notice until lots of wasted hours trying to get it to work. Also be sure you get the same booster if you get another. Had a problem with that issue also...the attaching pin was different than what I had. Different thread size wouldn't fit properly.

If I remember right, Bore X Stroke = Displacement (can be in cubic centermeters (cc) or cubic inches (ci). A 240Z stock = 2400 cc (Actually I think it is 2399 cc).

There is another valve near the rear on the passenger side up in the hump area in front of the split shaft. I believe THIS is the proportioning valve. The piece up front under the MC is just a splitter for the front and back lines.

I believe if you look closely you will notice the entire bumper is in place with the center section painted black.

This is how it's done. Loosen the screws (6) that hold the piece between the windshield and dash. Slide the lip of the dash cover under the loosened piece. Push the cap flush to the existing dash. (push the round protrusions into the gauge holes) (they don't go quite all the way to the gauge face). If the fit is good, silicone or use double sided tape into place at the bottom corners by the doors and at the center drop section beside the radio and heater controls. It really is simple to do. You may have to trim some of the protruded pieces into the gauge openings if the cap does not fit flush enough. I had to trim quite a bit around the hazard switch to make it fit. At first fit, the cap kept the hazard switch just a little off of the "Off" position and brake light wouldn't work...kept me busy for weeks!:stupid:

I've also noticied that the door pull handle on the passenger side is missing (between the window crank and armrest). Man, those door panels sure look sloppy and loose. I don't think it was a FR job.
