Parts such as belts and hoses are best bought locally at your parts store..just make sure if you are buying a brake master or alternator or other electrical items, that they aren't being substituted by the wrong model year especially if you have a 70 - 71. Later year models - 72- 78 use many of the same parts.

I would think friction would be reduced with worn rings.

Scott I just looked at my setup (XR3000 with Fireball Ps91 coil) and I don't have those wiires on my unit. It could be that your particular model is for a FI engine or a different car and was used on your Z. Check the web site for a different year/car application.
