At least 3 people in the Tampa Bay Florida area have rare ones. Do you know who and what they have?

Zcar overheating help
Does it run at "normal" temperature when you are driving it and become hot while at idle for more that a few minutes? If so, more than likely the fan is the culprit. If it always runs hot do a check with a thermometer from cold to hot checking against your guage. Of course make sure you have a "good" mix of antifreeze and water (see Carl's article on that) and make sure it's full. Good luck and do a search on this site for overheating..there's lots on this site about this problem as it's common to the early Z. 280 isn't as much of a problem as Datsun addressed some of the cooling problems by then.

Exhaust needed for 240Z
I would certainly have a chat with MSA. Could be some screwball cut it in the wrong place unless it's in the mold, in which case it can't be the right part.

Heater fan and wipers not working..
You have a good issue. I've been looking over my schematic for a while now and can't find the blower motor on it. What I'll do is send off a copy to you. Maybe it will help. Bill I'll email it to you because it's too large for this sites messaging.

no tach with crane ign.
I have the XR3000 with the PS91 coil. My wiring diagram shows a B/W wire and G/W wire going to dist and ballast from the tach. Don't know how well you can see the attached but here it is.

no tach with crane ign.
Hi all, I just installed a Crane ignition system (optical pickup and coil). Problem is the tach now doesn't work. The two wires from the tach are now tied together (per Cranes instructions). Has anyone installed this system before and if so, how did you deal with the tach issue?

Can't remove the brake drums!
This subject has been covered many times...check the forums and search "brake drums".:beard:

How do I remove this?
Hold a flat screwdriver blade against the flat of the plastic clip while prying in the opposite direction with another screwdriver against the rod.

Best way to power driving lights?
Unless you are using more than 55W lights you shouldn't see very much indication on the ammeter. You might want to check your alternator brushes. I use 55W bulbs for fog lamps, have a newly rebuilt alternator and don't see but a very slight rise in current drain on the ammeter (less than 1/32 inch movement) at idle.
