  3. I agree with Mr.Blake-however, being in Phoenix,you will lose nothing by pinching off the CSV line.It is POSSIBLE(however remotely)that the CSV could be dribbling just enough to screw up the idle

    Throwing synthetic in a high milage motor with a KNOWN history is a crap shoot at best.But in a motor with UN-KNOWN history?......

    If the underside is sound,your life is gonna be a lot easier.Everything else is easily replaceable.The only place i's use synthetic is the rear-end & gearbox.I would Seafoam the snot out of that motor.

  10. As good as J-B weld or other like products are,"thermal cycling" dooms them to eventual failure.Take the cover off.get it in spected & welded and be done with it for good.

  12. THe chain does stretch.Hence hole numbers 2 & 3 in the cam sprocket.
  13. THis is a common issue.Check that sparw cover and make sure it's good.Any machine shop can fix it for you if it's not.

  16. Should be a tag on the drivers door frame with VIN & date of manufacture
  17. It's probably something like this.You can see the throttle cable between the manifold & the BOV.

    Seeing as how you are in OC,i would look into an aluminum radiator.THe extra money will be well spent.

    Low pressure caps are for cooling systems that are structurally "challenged" shall we say.In the SW,i wouldn't screw around with a questionable radiator.
