You do know the fuel pump on these cars are wired to run ONLY if the motor is turning-right?
  2. The only issue is the TO bearing collar MIGHT be 2+2 specific.I know there is a difference between the car collars and the truck ones. The TO bearing collar MUST match the PP.

Odds are the adjusters are frozen.
  4. That's not good enough.As inyou STATE it's worth XXXXX.They state it's worth XXX.You get paid what they state.You have no say.If it's an AGREED policy,you've gottem.
  5. John just hit a major issue. If your policy says anything other than AGREED VALUE,you will get hosed if the car gets stolen or totaled.

Bob,get the roundtops running correctly-they are superior to any "down draft" set-up.Or the FI depending on your cam.
  9. Not true. Four sound better. And they are coming to a town near you. http://www.collingsfoundation.org/menu.htm

On a stock engine,FI is superior to carbs-period.When you start using bigger cams, issues can arise and SU's or Sidedraft Webers/Mikunis are the ticket. With a FSM,there are no factory FI issues that can't easily be resolved.

Holleys and DGV Wbers have no business being on a L motor.
  12. A carb/manifold situation where the fuel mixture makes 90 degree turns,is always the last choice.
  13. I never did business with Too Intense.Thats because he couldn't find the time to return calls/e-mails.

I've heard nothing but stellar reports on the Eco-boost stuff.Ford's pissing in GM's Wheaties again.
  16. 3 core.No such thing as "problems" getting air thru a radiator.

http://www.superbrightleds.com/ I replaced my dash lights with LEDs.The factory bulbs draw 3.4 watts. The LED replacements draw .27!And are brighter.
  19. As somebody else mentioned,it is not just a matter of tossing in the box with the biggest OD drop.Everything here is an equation. If your cruising RPMs drop below the rpm where your advance is fully in,that will hurt MPGs as much as without the OD.
  20. Agree on all points, with the exception of the "logging off/spam/ads" thing-i never saw that(maybe it is my security software),but oh-well.......
  21. Here is a good calculater.You have 3.54's with that automatic.Same as my 810 wagon.I'm transplanting a 620 5-speed and it'll be just what i ordered.As to the top end,you don't HAVE to use 5th gear on surface streets. Ooops..... http://www.wallaceracing.com/calcmph.php
  22. Another refugee.I sense a pattern here....

I think it wouldn't take much effort to "gut Zcar.com". Owner/mods have been for a long time and it has gotten worse,if that is possible.
  24. Ken-do you remember a Z shop in the South Windsor/E-Htfd area run by a guy in the late 70's early 80's.Tall,bald, Polish guy.
