I'm doing a 620 KC for the wife that is Plum Crazy with a Pistol-grip from an E-body.

GM has been screwing the public since the late 50's.Screw THEM in the heart.

Test the T-stat beforee installation.I've had 4 bad ones in a row from different sources.

One thing i've done is use stainless studs & nuts to hold the housing to the head. Second is i've powdercoated every square milimeter of the housing and cover.Third-i've drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the T-stat body.I've done this on my Z,my 810 daily driver and my wifes 620. Cut the center out of an old T-stat and run that for a test.If nothing changes,your problem lies elsewhere.Odds are it's the radiator all other things being equal.

They are a type of "Ansen Sprint" wheels.They were by far the most popular wheel to put on just about any Z,620 or 510 back in the day. I have a I have a set on my 810 and i'm looking for a set for my 620.

Something is not operating as intended.Silly stuff first: Verify T-stat opening.What degree are you running? Verify dash guage accuracy Fan shroud in place? Is the fan clutch good AND correct?The wrong one will not lock up untill 212 degrees Radiator-clean and free flowing?Should be a three core if you have A/C and depending where you are in California. All pusher fans do is impede airflow.

I know they aren't in your back yard.BUT,they are southwest cars.The money you'll spend going to retrieve the right car will save you three times that on body work.

All diesel injector pump/injector/fuel pump makers say no more than a 5% mix of bio-diesel in their products.

Those bolts are the same for all L-series motors.

Clearness of the fuel means nothing.It still could be clogged.Drop the tank and douche it out real good.If the problem persists,then do the pump.

Interesting.THe next time it has the "problem",insteading of waiting for it to clear up,let it run ragged for a minute or two and then shut it down and pull the plugs.If it is an individual cylinder you should be able to read it on the plug(s).
