Any electric fuel pump should have a reg & return line.ANY fuel pump from a FI car will have wayyyyyyyyy too much pressure.And if you're going to electric,there is no need for the manual pump.Not only there is no need,should the diaphram rupture in the manual pump,the electric will fill your crankcase with fuel. Holley would not be my choice for a pump.In fact it would be somewhere around the bottom of the list.

My GF(at the time) had a 79 Vette and my stock 78 Z would walk it easy.Pissed her off to no end.

There was nothing wrong with the 260 motor that a carb swap couldn't fix.The 260Z problems came from the carbs & car it self-not the engine.
