My headlights got progressively better with each mod this week. 1) Combo switch rebuild (amazing jump in light output) 2) Dave's wiring harness (even better) 3) Turbo ZX Alternator (brighter still) 4) Sylvania Silver Star Headlights (bright yellow to bright white) At this point the visibility is on par with a new car. My motor started running smoother after the alternator upgrade. Must be better spark somehow.

This is a fuse block I bought I think in the late '80's for a '72. With this, I don't think what you have is original. new fuse box
  4. My guess is this one is takes the cake for overkill Z car crimpers http://www.eagleday.com/jaco.html

I'm up the road in Austin... Same problem with deer. =:^0 Just did the combo switch and wiring harness upgrade. wow oh wow... Got the ZX alternator coming. How did the silver star lights work out?
  7. These look to be pretty close. Nice price compared with EagleDay. http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/connectors.htm
  8. I bought some spare connectors from Dave Irwin and some connectors from EagleDay. The ones Dave Irwin can get are much better than the EagleDay parts. Thicker plastic and nearly identical to stock (if not identical). The EagleDay's are useable, but don't look the same and won't mate up with your stock harness. I've successfully used a pick to hold back the metal tab on the spade terminals and transfer spades from an old connector to a new connector, so no need for cutting. You can also bust the old connector to free the spade terminals. When you have the connectors out, its a great time to soak them in tuner cleaner...
