73 auto-transmission pedal box
Is the pedal box on a 73 240Z automatic transmission car the same as on a manual transmission car? In other words, can I just bolt the 2 pedals from the manual pedal box into the automatic pedal box, attach the springs and stops and bushings and proceed from there?

Carl.....How about CB or at least ends in a B? Those repo air ducts would look nice on a yellow car! :bulb:

1971 240z
I had my wife hide the check book......that car was beautiful!!! A new cad bolt set from Eiji at Datsun Spirit.....new stickers from Mike at Banzai and some elbow grease and the car would have been top 10. I wonder if the new owner wants to part with the mud flaps? :stupid:

The ad says SOLD $24,500.00. I guess that shows that the right color and condition and year still amount to good money! I agree with the buyer "It is worth the price". Guy

Please help fuel guage not showing proper fuel levels
All you need to do to replace the sending unit is to tap off the lock ring.....remove sending unit and O ring. Slide in new sending unit with new O ring and tap on lock ring......hook up wires. If reversing the wires fails, check for current to unit. If that fails order new parts (readily available) and install.

vacuum hoses, air cleaner hose, etc, etc,
Randy....All of the hoses can be purchased at your local NAPA. Snip a piece of the old hose for each size to take with you. While you're at it do the same with your fuel lines. I always buy 3 or 4 times the length I need for reserve. Guy

1971 240z
Isn't yellow a fairly rare color? I love the color. I remember back in the 70's when it first came out in late 71-72. It was a great color addition to a fleet that somewhat lacked for color choice. I didn't see many on the road and I lived in Atlanta at the time.

Recent Just Dashes or Dashboard Restorations Experiences?
http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23919 If no one else........Do it yourself. Bruce's thread above illustrates that you can do it yourself, and since I own the dash (It's in my white 70) that he restored I can tell you it's still beautiful! :classic:

The long road to Coilovers and new wheels
Great job Andy......the 205-50-16's really handle nice. I've got 'em on my white 70. You don't get the travel that you get on the 225-50-16's.

23k mile 1972 in Seattle area
Never ceases to amaze me how these special cars keep showing up. I just recently bought my 73 with 41,000 original documented miles......the owner sold it so he could purchase another same color 73 with 6,000 original documented miles. Wow!
