Starting my Wall Sculpture
My body man is finally getting around to starting my Z car wall sculpture. Thanks to Zup for going out his way in getting the driver’s door. I don’t think he needed to apply the parking brake on his parts car that he got the door from to keep it from rolling away. No one will steal it either. I’ll update as it progresses. ?

Deal? Or No Deal?
I’d say those two pieces are the mother lode, you should thank the Datsun Gods! Great buy!

Deal? Or No Deal?

Rear Spoiler Fitment
Good point on the rubber washers Site. I used rubber “O” rings under each bolt......not only does it keep the spoiler off the paint, but allows water to pass through for drying purposes and by sealing the bolts, it keeps water out of the holes in the deck.

Rich.....I don’t know what you charge, but I’m sure it isn’t enough!!!!! Very, very nice.- [2019] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?
What a great sounding symphony!!! Beautiful car too.- New Z Concept by Privateer Artist
I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s been working for Ford in a big way with the Mustang (pretty much unchanged from original design).......not so much with the Camaro. I think if Chevy had made it closer to the original design they would have hit a home run, but they can still do it if they so choose. I just say ditto to everything grannyknot says above......why change perfection. Nissan needs a boost.....this would do it. Not much on their menu today that I would buy......especially since the Xterra is gone.- Need a plug bolt
You guys are terrific.....no more noise! Best part is the advice was free.....and that’s a good deal at twice the price!!!!! Thanks again Jim.- Need a plug bolt
........and there is absolutely nothing in the Universe nuttier than a squirrel’s turd! Cliff, I hope you never leave this site ?- Need a plug bolt
You think If I screwed in an NGK I could get it to fire on 7 Blue?- Need a plug bolt
Perfect.....Yes I love the way the strokers pull with the SU’s and their simplicity. Just didn’t know if they were lean at WOT. Thanks- Need a plug bolt
Great....I just ordered 2 bungs with the M18x1.5 plugs. One for each of the two Stroker Motors (I’ll have them welded in the Dow pipes). Curious as to how the A/F ratio is with the SU’s. Have you ever checked your Stroker with the SU’s? If so, what were your numbers?- Need a plug bolt
Right you are Jim. It’s not an early manifold, it’s a manifold from a ZX with no exhaust tubes......W48. I tried 3/8 and 1/2 inch plugs.....one too small and one too large. I just want to plug it. I’ll order an M18x1.5 plug. Thanks so much for your help.....I am always impressed with your knowledge of Z cars. Regards Guy- Need a plug bolt
Took the white 70 for some exercise. Developed an exhaust leak (loud). Found the cause....she’s missing a bolt (plug) from her early exhaust manifold. Anyone know the thread size of this item, or better jet do they have one they could spare? Thanks Guy- 1972 240Z Master Vace Decal Stenciling
Sorry, missed that you wanted the decal numbered. Mike at Banzai had someone stencil my engine (brand new) serial number (in the engine bay) engine plate. Call him.....if anyone knows where to get it done it would be him.- 1972 240Z Master Vace Decal Stenciling
Banzai Motorworks sells them. zzxdatsun.com- L crate engine recommendations
We’ll get there at 5.....start running at 6. Hope to get a least 3 runs. Would love to have you join us.- L crate engine recommendations
This should pretty much cover it. BTW, if anyone close to Dinwiddie wants to join us, we’d love to have you.- L crate engine recommendations
https://www.virginiamotorsports.com/drag/schedule/2019/april5/ April 5th.......We’ll be there.....look for the two little Datsuns in a field of noisy Chevys and Fords!- KONI Sports for Classic Z's
Safari Gold......great color choice!- Brake Problems (still)!
Wow.....Sorry Jerry.....just seemed like the symptoms I had with a reaction disc. Pedal hard as a rock but had to stand on the pedal with both feet to stop.- Brake Problems (still)!
Charles is sending him another......a lot easier to just use that one. A loose reaction disc won’t hurt anything if it just stays in the booster IMO.- L crate engine recommendations
I usually build my own motors, but Eiji built both of my Strokers. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Getting ready to go head to head at Dinwiddie quarter mile track again this Spring with Eiji. Gonna see how the Stroker does in the sprint. - We're bringin' back the Flat Tops!
