Saw a Georgia boy driving up I-20 just outside of Columbia a couple weeks ago towing a big smoker with a sign that read "You can smell our butts a mile away!".........pretty much says it all.

Wish I could do that with the side protectors on my 73, but it's all original paint and I'd have to repaint......a real no no on an original Z.

NHC......He sourced it from a friend that had one that he had stowed away for some time. He let it go for $1200.00. Only had the one. Sorry

Great idea Lee.....can you spare one? I do need an antennae base.....doesn't have to work. I'll post pics of the resto.....this should be a fun project for Chuck....I'm going to use the early pillar 240Z......Series One is worth more than Series Two eh?

Rear main seal installation
It's important to grease the lips of the seal.....then as you are sliding it on the crank, rotate it clockwise on the crank (this positions the lips correctly) as it approaches the block. I then tap it in squarely ( equally around the seal ) with a smooth block of wood and hammer.

Need tie rod end nuts (locking nuts) for 71
BlackDragon had them....ZCarDepot bought their inventory....they probably have what you need.

What is best/recommended driver side door seal
Vintage Rubber.....30 minute job....press fit.....no glue and looks like original.
