I'll compare the covers and post a picture. It's tricky buying stuff over the internet, no idea of the quality you cant look before you buy. There are some more bits I need but have noted some price differences between Midwest and Classic Datsun Tool Box Lids 55.00 46.80 Hatch Vents 80.00 56.32 Plug Lead Retainers 10.00 6.00 Push Pin Rivets 1.40 .70 Hood Rubbers 24.00 8.60 I should find out if parts are geuine or reproduction but rivets are rivets? Any of these parts available in Aus? Classic Dat on left Nick

Absolutely Gorgeous Modified Z
Looks good, imagine it would go . Underneath a bit rough , who cares, looked solid if not used on track no problem. Posted on several sites I guess if you have a Z related business and have a project that is of interest to Z owners post (if moderators don't like they will delete) Nick

Rolling Diameter
To achieve the same rolling diameter as the tyres originally fitted (175SR14) what size (would like a wider tyre) would I need to fit a 61/2x14 rim? Nick

Hello Alan The circle at the bottom is a casting date. The Japanese safety mark is on the the front, so I guess made in Japan. The inside of the rim is painted bright blue. They weigh 12 lbs. Nick

Wheel Studs
To fit spacers(3/8) to the front hubs do you need to fit longer studs, can you use the rears as they appear to be longer? If not then possible to buy longer studs and from where? Nick

seat reco
I'm just in the process of getting a set (2 covers) from clasic datsun in the US $370 Aus inclusive of postage. Will have to pay duty and GST on arrival. But good value compared to getting re upholstered. From all accounts covers are very close to the original and not too hard to fit. nick

Original Seat Material?
Yes the Classic Datsun , had some good reports on them $370 at todays exchange rates including postage. But you have to pay duty then GST on the purchase price, postage and duty, still a lot cheaper than a trimmer! Nick

Original Seat Material?
Am in the process of getting some replacement seat covers and was wondering if I should replace the padding? I think this is horse hair? I guess it is original? Will this stuff fall off when covers are removed? Nick
-
Seat cover kits?
Thanks Victor The "horse hair" is about 2" thick on the seat back and is combined with foam in the seat squab. Nick
-
Seat cover kits?
Victor Thought I would take advantage of the stronger Aus $ and get a few bits and pieces. The Classic Datsun seat covers, I see you had no trouble fitting, how was the material match? Did you use the the original padding and horse hair?(the brown fibreous material) Its hard to make a decision without seeing the finished product. Nick
