  1. If you do not have a wiring diagram, and since we do not know what year your car is, here is an excellent starting point. Trust me - you'll need this sooner or later. http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=240z+diagram&_sacat=See-All-Categories
  2. Great clip - she sounds great!
  3. I totally agree with theguppies - this is a total waste IMO - I know the clock is rare but how could any of us justify spending over $1000 on a clock - maybe a Rolex but not for a car by any stretch. Whats your thoughts on spending $1000 of your money on a clock for your car?
  4. All right - I do see a locking gas filler lid - I have not ever done any research on a locking lid - 78820 E8200 - looks like you would need the lock - clip - lid. Section 85-2 up to July '73
  5. Nissan - Cap Assy - 17251-N4501 - should fit any 240z series
  6. I would call Todd - since this is your first post and we do not know if this is a new carb to a current engine or if you purchased the car with this set up. Was this set up for street driving and now you are autocrossing with higher fuel needs and higher RPM's.....at this point nobody knows. Do you have extra jets? What is your current set up of these carbs? We just don't have enough info. Todd has all the parts and knowledge you could need on these carbs - have you read the Mikuni manual - that would be a great starting place to familerize yourself with your set up. I would call Todd first thing before I turned a screw - but at least do a little reading and research before calling him - IMO. 7. OEM is available from your local Nissan dealer. Grab the Nissan code and order it.............it's that easy!
  8. When I was using my SU's I kept a bottle of 3 in 1 for the pistons - for my temp it seems to work perfect. This has been discussed in details many times in the past - you may want to do a search and see which direction you want to go with weights and temps.
  9. 7datsun5 is from a different era.................he must know the vulcan peace sign and have pointed ears!
  10. This brings me back the underhood color...............I know I like it - but, should I.......................paint - sound deadener - matting - it's gotta be black for sure. I'll have to ponder on it a while longer...................

  12. My collection continues to grow as well. I'm sure most of us has a few baskets of electrical - mechanical - odds and ends.
  13. Seeing how Daniel brought all this up................it appears that Daniel is using our site as a platform to generate hype on his ebay item - due to our "issues" in the past with a previous bid that was a misleading description at best - I believe I will pass on this item and ebayer. I did ask Daniel to respond to me in a PM dealing with this conversation...........no response at all. Gary - I do agree with you 100% - normally our members do put members first.
  14. Do you have a functioning one you are selling - if you do let me know - I do have an interest in purchasing one.
  15. How are we forgetting about the "third brake light" for the hatch..............the list goes on and on............not to mention a little coaching on the side to fix electrical gremlins!!
  16. I just did the steering wheel last week - went with a Momo Competition - should have done it years ago!! Much better grip on the wheel.
  17. I love a good moving rack!!ROFLROFLI thought I was in the boob thread!!
  18. Ray - Review this one and then do a search on the topic - http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?35995-Ron-Tyler-Differential-Mount&highlight=r%2FT+mount
  19. Ray - You will get rock hard solid shifts with no give that the stock set up has - over the years that support will give a lot of flex and then you will get the dreaded "thunk" of shifting gears. This is the correction to get that "thunk" out of your shifts and nice smooth shifts regardless of rpms or speed. This is a must for any Z car owner......just ask any of us that have finalized this modification to our cars. We would never go back to the stock set up.
  20. Tom - Are your Mikuni's? Are the 40's - 44's - 50's?
  21. I have the front speaker pods - I'll try to get some pic's over the weekend.
  22. Ray- Wow!! You can tell she is a one owner gal. She is a beauty.......fantastic! If you ever get up to the Boone area give me a shout - we have some great twisty's up here and it looks like you are ready for them. Thanks for sharing! Buy the way - just ordered a Momo steering wheel (Competition). Do you like yours better than the thin original wheel?
  23. OER did revise their correct contact - Please use the below email address: webmaster@tatsumi-company.com Dear Mitchell We are sorry for our late reply. We thank for your kind information. Beautiful car, isn't it! ?How about the condition afterwards? The OER webshop does not advertise it in particular. Because I do not know the method to easily publicize widely all over the world. We thank for your message. If you can, we would appreciate it if you revise e-mail address to webmaster@tatsumi-company.com instead of my e-mail address yuiko@tatsumi-company. Because there are too many junk e-mails. It is difficult to find out an important email from that. We are very sorry for the inconvenience which it might have caused in your business. If there is technical question, please contact us without hesitate. Please take care, and I look forward to hearing from you again. Best regards, Yuiko
