  1. From mild to wild - or even custom Welcome to Rebello Racing
  2. I listen to Pandora a lot in my X6 - not at all what Kurbycar is saying - I have to disagree totally on satellite radio.
  3. Welcome from the other side of the state - great ready for a great ride!
  4. Realistic you will be paying $100-$300 for a diff in good shape and you still have to change out some seals. Be sure to research your gear ratio - just when you think you want a 3:36 you find out a 3:54 has better get up and go..........do your homework. It also depends on what transmission you are running - a 4 speed with a 3:54 is a great combo / a 5 speed with a 3.9 or a 4:11 is not bad either.
  5. I've had these louvers for several years at this point - I'll have to dig though some receipts to find the manufacturer.........thanks for the kind words - it's been a labor of love, or should I say money!
  6. I just purchased a BMW X6 for my daily work driver - if I did not drive so many miles per year it would have been a Nissan GT-R without a doubt. Huge bang for the buck and all wheel drive performance!
  7. Get the video and a Air/Fuel gauge - dial those baby's in - it's that easy.
  8. This may help others find another option - buy direct from Japan. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/carburetor-systems-s30/42045-wolf-creek-racing-mikuni-40s.html
  9. STOP!! Do you have any POR15 - if not go and buy some quick before you run any lines - now is the time!
  10. Bill- Welcome to the site! Get ready to have a great ride (while you are in the doghouse)!
  11. Why do you want to replace your hard fuel/brake lines? Are you doing a complete restoration? I would without a doubt replace all rubber fuel/brake/cluch lines if they are original, dry and cracked. You will avoid problems down the road. Be sure to remove the spare tire and the rear plastic panel and get all of them.
  12. Cliff - Send you head to Dave Rebello Welcome to Rebello Racing
  13. Here you go - give this a shot Banzai Motorworks Banzai Motorworks
  14. Call some of the specialty shoppes that have Z parts (not MSA) - you need to give them your measurements - they are out there but they are tough to find. Just replaced all my rear rubber last year with a new chrome job. A little pricey but well worth it!
  15. Stephen Congrats on the new addition - one of Gods best miracles ever! Rob - I bought a new daily driver for work - funding for the Z just moved to the X. Taking a break on mods this year (I did upgrade radiators to Koyo this winter) on the Z. Brakes are on the list for next year.
  16. Beautiful........almost as hot as some of conedodger's other pics......we all do know what I'm talking about;)!!
  17. A little elbow grease does wonders - great job!
  18. I used a Dynamat when I refreshed my car - 2 years later the MSA replacement liner foam separated from the vinyl. Had to buy a new replacement and this time saturated the foam with adhesive. Time will tell.
  19. Newest addition to my garage 2012 BMW X6 35i - keeping the '05 X5 (273,000 miles and still rockin').
  20. Great looking project - one of the first things I always do is to pull the radiator and take it to a shop to have it rodded - one less thing to be concerned with - your shop can verify pressure and correct any challenges while they have it - the last one I had rodded and boiled was $40. Z$ well spent. I also agree with above - change out all our fuel lines - you'll be glad you did! Don't forget the bottom of the carbs while you are at it.
  21. Car is in the garage for the winter - changing out the radiator to a Koyo polished aluminum. My original radiator is in fair condition - I will clean it/rod it/repair if needed and put it in storage with the rest of the original parts.
