Are you sure the tach is from a 240Z? To me it looks like a 280z. 280z tachs have 3 wires and that is what that one looks like minus the bulbs.

Something seems odd to me about these hubcaps. From another post I asked about finger differences and someone pointed out the valve hole position seems to go with the smaller tighter fingers and is across from the opening. All the below links are small fingers, but from what I found on eBay it’s in the wrong spot and should not be by the spoke. I guess the other odd part to me is all have the same description and are all NOS. The numbers on the back look odd to me too. As well as the color. Who has 3 sets of NOS hubcaps? Now it’s possible one is a relist from a non paying bidder, but the last one in December already left him positive feedback. All the same seller. I’m all for real NOS if they really are, but if they are repos I think they should sell for less money and be stated as such. Am I wrong? I’ve always lubed mine when I put it in so it can pivot easily. It’s not going anywhere. What year is your car? I may have an extra balancer I would sell you.

Doesn't the 78 have 4 fusible link? Did you check them all. (not just visually but with a meter) Also I thought there was one from the main wire from the Starter to the main harness.
