Well, went and looked at during lunch as it was close to work. It's a mix of parts as seen. I was interested a few parts mainly, new carpet set that I passed on. He would let it go for $2500.

It might be part of the advertising portion of the forum software. It looks like it is checking if two words combined are an actual URL. In this case, "simply be" is a real URL, www.simplybe.com is a plus size clothing site.

That is really weird. From my end this is what I see:

Yeah I Saw that too. I think it's in both the quote and the original.

Oh I missed the valve stem location. At first I started thinking the tighter fingers were maybe reproductions, but then I’ve never seen repo hubcaps for the Z. To me they look like they would hold better with the all the uniform fingers, but the quality at least from the pics I’ve seen looks a little less. I could be completely wrong.

I pinged someone who works parts at a local Nissan and NLA. Also had Nissanpartsdeal look as well, NLA. I went through this looking for the Datsun script emblem for the hatch. Ordered it as they said it was available. Day later, sorry, NLA.

It seems there are 2 differences on the spring edge used to hold the cap onto the wheel. Is one better than the other? Is there an early and late version of the hubcaps? pics showing difference.

These were off my wrecked 73. Any huge rush? There yours if you like. 2 are the same thickness and one is thinner.

So it runs fine cold until it warms up and then goes pig rich once warm?I’d have to agree with the above comment but i thought you said you already checked resistance at the ECU plug for the CTS? The other easy thing to do is swap the thermotime bullet coonectors with the CTS ones.

My quote for a driver condition job was $5300. That price was me stripping everything (glass and engine too) and bringing him a shell.
  16. Wow a whole page dedicated to him. That is crazy. Did your read the comment where he supposedly calls your work?

Just be careful when removing carpet. There is a jute pad I think is what it’s called and I’m not sure if it’s part of the carpet or part of the floor but always has a tendency to rip. Possibly because all the ZX I have bought have been clunkers for the most part. If you find a good source for carpet let us know!

Don’t rule out the cold start injector being bad. Easy check is to put a pair of vice grips on the hose leading to it. I’ve seen an l6 running on nothing but the CS injector.

I feel you. I’ve finally finished sorting 99% of all the bolts I have for the cars I’ve dissmanted over the years. So nice to go to one place and go there it is. I’ve actually moved all my NOS parts under my bed in the house.

I was hoping my 6/71 didn’t coming with the “D” style hub caps. I pinged Carl Beck and this is what he told me: “Yes, 06/71 would have had the "D" hub caps. The "Z" hubcaps started 09/71 with the 1972 Model Year. Nissan shows the 1972 Models as Starting at VIN HLS30 46000. (although several 72 Z's have been reported with VIN's as low as 43421).”

Well I paid 1200. All said and done I have 3150 in her. I’m kinda goofy though I keep spreadsheets on stuff I buy to see what it really cost, minus gas and insurance. But I’m still ahead . It was fairly clean before now.
