Ok that makes sense about the liner I knew that likely there were mounting points for it but other than that I thought everything bolted right up. Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Curious for educational purposes only, what are the differences between the 75-78 fenders?

  8. Was the 240z on hybrid that was on eBay and BAT to much? I thought I saw you post over there. I think he is a dealer too and could likely arrange shipping.

Do this and take a pair of small vise grips and clamp the hose going to it. I've seen them fail without being turned on electrically.
  12. May help to post your location your looking in.
  13. I would change this a little bit. Before removing any fuel lines, just jumper the fuel pump. If it doesn't' work, get a new one first before removing any fuel lines.

Have your mechanic go through the trouble shooting section in the FSM. Start with the fuel injection section. Efec.pdf under here: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/280z/1982/1982 280zx FSM/ The CHTS can cause havoc on these motors.
  16. 75/76 are typically non-webbed and non-egr N42.

Sometimes ther is slop in the square. I've used a blade screwdriver to take up the slop. Worked great.

This car was on Craigslist for awhile and then on eBay and I don't think it sold. You can call and see if it's still around. I think he was asking 12 or 13k. This was a screen shot from March 4th.

I'm assuming it has to be worth a minimum of $2K as just a stock shell with little rust. Lots of stuff missing to make a daily driver. The cage looks like it has been hacked and would likely need to be reworked to be certified legal again for ITS. The... (SCCA ITS stuff: coil overs, tokicos, big sway bars, strut bar, adj TC rods, Sunpro gauges, adj brake bias, fuel cell, Holley electric pump) parts used may not have all that much value, but would be a good start for someone wanting to get started in ITS. As it sits, I don't see why you can't ask $4K. It's a very niche market in my mind.
  23. Man I'm with you. Couldn't agree more. On the first drawing, I really don't like the wheel size. It looks to much like a hotwheels care to me.
  24. Did you get that in Orlando? The Chasis looks familiar
  25. ... double post.
