what are these worth?
As a reference new. Maybe go up to $1000 and then go down. I sold an old set of mikuni 45mm for $500, but I always end up selling stuff to cheap. Then again it typically sells fast. https://www.racetep.com/automaker/datsun-z/z-car-triple-sidedraft-weber-carb-and-fuel-injection-conversions/basic-kit.html

I'd ask $800 and see how it goes.

Datsun Meme Fun
Now that is pretty funny!

Incredibly Original 1972 240Z on eBay
For simplicity, I've always used the carbs as reference. Flat tops were 73-74. Now granted they could have been swapped. Has anyone seen a 72 with flat tops?

Jury Rigging Fuel Pump
You should Steve! I just get lost following the wires in the silly schematic!

differerential ID
I'd wager to say it's an CLSD from a 300zxt. Open it up and check the ratio if it's 3.7 and looks like this it likely is:

My Hoarding of Z Parts
Hoard away!!!! It's a hard decision. If you sell something, you'll need it. I have a shed full of stuff, garage, tent, etc. I have a buddy locally that I've told if I croak for some reason that my wife will contact him to sell off the parts. I'd turn over in my grave if they just threw out the LSD rear ends!

[2017] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?
You poor guys in the snow, yuck. I actually had a bead of sweat run down my forehead in my shorts, t-shirt and flip flops!! Sorry I couldn't resist. Well I'm trying to keep my promise to my wife and not have a Junkyard in my backyard, though I would love one! So I've been working on getting the 79 off to the scrapper. Hard part is I have to cut it up. Pulled engine last week. Pulled harness today. The s30 harness is so small after you've done a ZX! The floor just has a little rust in it!

PCV Flow Direction - Can I Reverse?
I'm playing with this idea of routing using a piece of bent steel tubing for the breather cover. I'm wanting everything super clean, neat and hidden. I was thinking of routing it like this. Blue is one option, orange is another. Just depends how space goes. I'll be running the open N42 intake so going under shouldn't be an issue.

Looking at this 280z for first project car, need advice
This is very good advice. The only flipside to this is there is a huge amount of people who don't know what they are doing and if you do it could pay off. Waiting out the seller and lowballing the asking price could warrant you a very good purchase. And the flipside to my advise is the demand for Z cars have gone up so quickly it's hard to wait the sellers out now. Even ZX's are bringing decent money.

Jury Rigging Fuel Pump
It would be best to track down the issue, but yes you can do it that way. I would not use the wire unless you know the exact load rating what it was designed for. Since your defeating any safety fuel pump shut off, it would be best to run new wire to the + side of the pump, ground the - to the chassis and install a Ford inertia shut off switch inline of the + side wire. Youtube it and you will see what a simple device it is and where you can get it. Again, Ideally it would be best to figure out what is wrong.

[SOLD] 1974 260Z RLS30016515 3.1 stroker FOR SALE $11,999.00 Clarksville, TN
Funny I love the hood! That center peice is worth a couple hundred bucks. Is there an electric fuel pump even with the mechanical one? GLWS. I think it should sell pretty quick.

Eliminating the Coolant Sensor
You can tuck them and run under the fuel rail and out the back. I was actually looking at using a injector wire holder from a BMW but figured a nice wire loom would be better. Check out how Brapp did it in this thread at Hybridz: http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/75982-shaved-intake-280zx-now-wont-start/?p=724215

Faster response when speeding from 1st geat on my 240z and other issues
To me your choke description is accurate. It shouldn't hurt anything as long as you don't always run it with it on. I wouldn't advance it to much more to avoid detonation. You could advance a couple more but listen for any pinging. How old are those plugs? If new it looks a little rich to me. Also in my opinion the Z's like 180 thermostats. I know Pamama is hot but where does your gauge sit when fully warmed up?
