Positive offset + wheel spacer = "simulated 0 offset" ?
Of course. It seems you know you can run them and appears you even have the correct hub centric ones on your truck. Like anything else, people do things incorrectly and spacers are no different. For fun jump on YouTube and look at all the failures that have occurred.

The spacers are prone to loosening. Is a spacer ideal no, can you do it yes. You introduce an additional check with the spacer. Maybe additional bearing load as well.

Have you confirmed if the R200 in the Car is open or LSD? Looking at the round drive shaft flange made me wonder if they threw an LSD in there. I know the 87-89 LSD came with a round driveshaft pinion flange. Easy check would be when both tires of the rear are up in the air turn one wheel. If the other goes in the same direction, pretty good chance it is. There may be other years that came with round as well, but I thought most were square. Below is LSD diff with round pinion flange. If it is and LSD, this is a good thing.

Interesting. Maybe Nissan made some other design as well? Mine came apart too. I was just shocked to see the original sticker still on mine.

Steering Rack Disassembly and Refurb
I was curious on this nut. Is it a lock nut against the inner tie rod? Mine inner was different then yours. I think mine was the original OEM since it was wrapped in gold foil.

Driver's Side Tie Rod
I just installed my inner left from www.rareparts.com. Seemed Autozone, oriely, advance all get from rareparts and mark it up. Of course it is a right on the left. Part number is RP26575. It was $101 shipped.

WTB Motorsport steering wheel.
Isn't that a grant with Z horn button? I have a grant that looks similar. Stiching in one spot is coming undone. I can get a better pic if your interested. $50 plus shipping and you get the steering wheel mount.
