[2017] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?
Yeah I wish I had a title. That's why I'm cutting it up. I've done this once before this way and didn't have a problem. The front is super light, the back I can't pick up. The cutting up part is kind of fun I must admit. I don't think I'll do this again. This was the last one I did:
-
left-over gaskets
I'll take them.

Low miles, original paint 280z

[2017] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?
Finally ready for the sawzaw! On side note the easiest way to remove the ZX back windows is to remove the two nuts holding them in and push with your feet. Slowly pulled away and came right out.

Time to sell my Z. What's she worth?
I flew to Miami with $10k in cash to buy my sons truck. They questioned the heck out me with why that was the only thing I brought. It was kinda funny. They were like why don't you take it out from the bank? I was like I'm part of a small credit union and there are no branches in south FL.

At The Salvage Yard
Hard part about the corporate JY's is they won't sell complete cars. I've tried a few times without any luck.

1971 Series I Project for $3K in Orlando
Thanks. I looked at another car yesterday that was a 70, 24xx vin and he wanted $5k for it. I thought it was really high too. Both sides were like this and the floors were gone.

[SOLD] WTB NGK translucent spark plug wires
I'm curious, why are these any better than what is currently sold?

280zxturbo ignition problem
Sounds like the ignitor (transistor) on the coil is going bad I thought that was a symptom of a bad ignitor when it would get hot. Google bad 280zx turbo ignitor symptoms. Also check for corrosion on the round 4 way plug to the distributor. When it won't start see if it is getting spark or not.

Brakes locked up
Anytime! And it's 12mm nut! Still, that was very good you figured it out so quickly. After you left I went and looked at 70 vin 24xx car that I forgot about was around. He wants 5k for it and almost as rusty as the other one that is for sale locally.

At The Salvage Yard
Are all the locks in place? Even without a key you can get one made pretty cheap and have a full lock set.

At The Salvage Yard
Man I haven't seen a 240z in a yard in years here in central Florida. We get an ocassional 280z.

Understood. I'm asking if it was 70 sub 2500 vin in the same condition.

Time to sell my Z. What's she worth?
Just make sure you check the validity of any transfer. Don't give anyone your account, no cashiers check and no one willing to pay more than what you are asking. I think it's almost better to take a personal check and wait for it to clear. Of course cash is king.

[SOLD] R200 3.7 rear differential ($150)
Pulled from a 79 ZX. 155k on it. Made it cheap to save on shipping. Oil was fairly clean and minimal shavings on magnet.
