Best advice ever. I would add make sure it’s the color you like. Five years ago I sold my families favorite Z because no ac and the color sucked. Sold it for 7k. Kid I sold it to totaled 2 weeks later and got 10k from insurance. I just couldn’t justify spending 8k on a 7k valued car. My daughter had hopes it was going to be hers. Somone put $$$ in that car. Luckily I only had $3600 in it.

For $1000 to $1500 maybe. Those fender flares really need to be redone. That giant crack close to the body is it separating. Rust is critical on the lower rear suspension mounting points, around the windshield and the cowl. The Zx prices have risen, but it’s hard to find clean ones. If it were a stock turbo car it would have some value. If you can get it for the price I listed above, get it. Otherwise wait. I look at them from time to time and pass due to the rust around windshield and cowl. Do they sell fast in TX? This thing has been there for months and months with no takers. Smart. At least enjoy it for a couple years. Paint Jail can last a long time and then your run into the, "as long as I'm here, I might as well do ...." Mine is in primer but staying that way until I get my 300z back up and running. Doesn't help having 3 projects going at once!

What’s nice about a lighter color is it makes the edges pop more. Gets you more depth.

And they are easier to work on then the z32. Although I’m pulling my motor now and the amount of crap that is in the way is amazing!
