Turns out the motor is a from a series one, so tomorrow I will post the block number and maybe it will match a car someone knows! I am taking pictures for everyone who asked, some things are going out in the mail tomorrow. Turns out the car also has an r-200 for anyone who is local looking for one. I will have the car for another week, then it gets cut up. Body panels already sold....roof and hatch panel. Rear pasn side quater is also for sale, going to be a steal for somone local to me.

Ok, got the Z today and I have some news for you guys.......this car was wrecked HARD!! Clocks says 43k which I believe to be true miles due to the rust and pedal wear. If you look at the pics you can see the paint on the car is crap.....but...underneath all that ugly are, "NOS" Fenders (2), Rear Pasn Quater, Drivers Door, Front Turn Signal Valances, Hood, Hood Cowl. I put "NOS" because of course it is not true new old stock but on the backside of all the parts listed, it still shows the Nissan Factory primer grey! Dash is not cracked just needs some love to get it shiny again. I also believe that the motor came from an early 240z. I am new to now trying to remember which head came with what but here is what it has: E31 head 2400 Valve Cover 4 screw Su's (were these mostly 70-72 then went to 3 screww 73?) 5-speed was swapped in. The 280zx wheels look very good and have new tires mounted on them, so for anyone local this will be good for you to come look at. The car is about 50% stripped already, please pm or post here with your needs. I will update the thread as we go along so everyone knows if parts are gone or not. Thanks, Clive

Steve, I would like all of the parts I am not keeping gone waaaay before winter. I am pulling my 73 apart this winter for paint. I am amazed this car was going to be crushed with all these new parts in it!

Well the plan is to look it over and come home with it. Spoke to the owner about the car and I was away and could not pick it up this past weekend. Thats why I said 90% sure, 10% leaves it up to someone to hit the buy it now before I look at it at noon tomorrow. Clive
