im using the zx shifter...and tahnks i didnt know that ill use my 4 speed

i just did that swap today the only trouble im having is that the shifter hit my center console but everything is okay you can still use the same drive shaft from the 4speed

correction...a 68 cougar =] 4speed 351C

neh i got the money but i went to go get a cap and rotor and they only had the the cap i have to pick up the rotor tommarow

ah jimmy i finally regulated my problem i tired my spark plugs on my freinds car and they sparked greatly and ran on his z now and i kept checking for spark again on my spark plugs and noticed the spark wasnt sparking enough times...now this can only mean onthing.....cap and rotor funny eh?...rdefabri dont worry this website is to help us all

i fell ya' stupid car......and i just got a 5 spd ready to go in it

well of course ive dont that , well since the battery blew out i changed volateg regulator and the points dizzy to an elctric but the points dizzy didnt even want to get the car started at all either

checked it all umm i cant really do the timing until i get the car started sop it would be very difficult

i seen that on craigs list...i want his rims

well i already checked the spark and it sparks its very strange why this is happening

checked my dizzy cap and rotor and spark plugs are new fuel pump is pumping new wires im thinking that none of the gas is beein burnt

can i use my drive shaft from my 4 speed on my 5 speed tranny

well im getting great sprak but it seems that the gas isnt beeing blown up up in all the cylinders

its my 73 240z that battery blew due to a bad volatage regulator does turn over but dont run

i started investagating this more...i took out all my spark plugs and looked and saw that some spark plugs are really clean and dont show any signs of gas beeing blown in the cylinder and some do

and might i add ive been trieng to crank it so much im thinking can it be flodded?
