73 240z w/ l28 okay so my battery blew like a week ago due to a bad voltage regulator so i changed the battery and changed the voltage regulator and now it doesnt wanna start at all i bought a new coil new spark plugs and i got so tired dealing with points i got an electric dizzy but it has a e12 93 ignition module but i heard it will still work but not as good as the e12 80 so onward, so i installed this i check for spark and i get a nice blue spark from the coil and then i check the spark plugs to see if i get spark and i do and i crank it and it doesnt wanna start so i spray starting fluid in the crabs and nothing i really dont know what the problem is i hope its not an internal problem i really need help i dont like seeing my z undriven

i just bought a electrick dizzy for my car and i wanted to know how to hook it up to my 73 240z becuase im done with points:angry:

the only other way is to check your valve seals your getting good compresson you might wanna take apart the head

well wometimes when i cranked it it showed sign of start.....but didnt turn on and it did use to spark but now nothing...im going to check out what you told me of the battery to see what up thanks for the advice on that

got new coil and nothing i ran a test light threw all the wires and it light up but the coil still doesnt spark i also ran the test light on the moins and it shows signs ov voltage i rreally need to get my car running by tommarow

i used a slide hammer with some kind of weird tongs at the end

the cap is new and i did ground the spark plug and nothing only from the coil i get a spark

its a 240 but i saw a spurk...it didnt look blue to well it was small and itwas during sunlight

no water i just checked if the coil was sparking and it was but unfourtenatly the spark wasnt beeing received to the spark plugs

i took out the the coil cable and i put very close to a ground and cranked it and it sparked gap and everything else is fin its just my spark plugs arnet receiving spark...can it be my dizzy?

ok yesterday my battery blew due to a bad voltage regulator....and fried a wire....i replaced the wire and battery and voltage regulator but didnt wanna start. So i checked if it was sparking , the coil seemed to be sparking but there was no spark when i took out the spark plugs i checked my points but they are new so is the condenser i need help cuz i need to get my car running could it be my dizzy?

haha i have that peice of plastic....and i would sell it for like 5 or less dollars

oh god this is still going just let it die, it didnt hurt neither one of you. I dont really blame you why you should all feel like this not all of us have junk yard like these out there and since they havent experienced junk yards like these they see this problem way diffrent yeah i stole it ok call me whatver you want and over exagerate with your stories atleast im not selling it for a crazy price some where else where im using it for my self , my car and if you guys keep trieng to make me feel bad for something so freakin little you guys can all go to hell im serious making some one feel bad after what they have done doesnt make things better even when it keeps beeing brought up this site was made for people who love z cars and people who need help with them to meet others or communicate with others and to receive help and advice , im not a very mean person and i wouldnt steal from anyones car i wouldnt even purchase a part that came off a gutted car basically i wouldnt steel from an individual owner. i didnt expect to be appricated i do expect some one to call me crZy or a fool i just wnated to show people how lucky you can get in a junk yard but i guess you guys are supposely 110% great people you guys forget that this sint a perfect world . stuff gets stolen people die and sh!t happen so what what get the hell over it

you know what...screw it it guys...we all have stolen things even from junk yard , come on you must have atleast taken some bolts and i have two parts cars in front of my house and people stop bye wanting to by some parts i dont need and i frequently just give them away, plus i didnt have the money for it becuase they charge crazy, put your self in my shoes

like im saying dont judge anyone until you have walked in there shoes, and this same junk yard also has jipped me for some windows that didnt even fit in my car and they gave me a lil receipt saying if i find those same ones that willa cutally fit my cal i can take them....and when i did the receipt only had 3 more days till expired and i had to end up paying for them so serves them right true story...i didnt even end up using the windows

the car was in the junk yard...i most liekly didnt have enough money for it since they rip you off so bad, i mean come on theft is theft but if you had no koney and saw something as cool as that there is no way when you come back with money that it will be there...ok if it makes you guys feel better i paid for the the lil cooler cuz it was too big

so i was a the junk yard today and i came up on a 280 z wich was carburated...i was looking at what i can get from this car...and then i saw it, a BRE oil cooler kit...i screamed like a lil school girl took it off and stuffed what i could in my pants...so it was basically for free

check timing or other vaccum leaks
