adjusted the SU's...took a while but i got it

well okay i have raised the car...my center console ain even on as with the boot...so i can see where the shifter hooks up at and where the drive shaft goes into the tranny.....i put the rear up on jacks and i tunr it on and put it in gear and let the wheels turn and its starts squeeling and then i really wanted to see if the the dust cover on the drive shaft so i put a lil bit a tranny fluid and it made the noise quite down a lil but it still smokes so i cant really drive fast for a long period of time.....rockr69 ...did give me some good help maybe it can be my dust cover

got it, finally runs really good

well i fix my carb problem ...just took a while with the ol' screw driver =] but the dirve shaft is still a problem..... it keeps squeeling and smokes and it smeels and its pissing me off...come on got a new engine in the car and would love too do a lil speeding here

okay i did timing , timing is done adjusted my points..there fine and my car idles like at 850 rpm and when i push the gas my fron carburator pops and throws smoke and it even caught fire ...help me...do i need to get me carbs rebuilt?

what is that gap suppose to be for a 73 datsun manual?

well whats the diff between the 240z drive shaft and the 280z one?

did it...all i hear is a screech im guessing some how the drive shaft is rubbing....its cuz i swaped the engine and tranny it was a l28...do you think the drive shaft is right?

ok i was driving my z and i wanst using the boot for the shifter becuase some strange reason i couldnt put it in reverse becuase it was hitting and i was driving and i kept hearing a squeeling noise cooming from where the drive shaft connect to the transmission and then sudennly there was fire and i was like wtf?....what can i do to fix this?

well the pump was working...and i sprayed starter fluid and then it just started...im so happy i get to drive her from now on =] and thanks gary

no im running some weian air filters i just took them off

Okay my Z has been out of commision for like almost 3 months i have finally finished my l28 swap ...feels great to finally actually drive my z again but...i do have a lil problem ...the engine aint receiving fuel it must be the fuel pump and i checked and and turned it over and removed the hose and turned it over and nothing came out but im sure the fuel pump works =[ ...well heres some pics

where do i pour the transmission fluid?...can i put it in where the shifter goes?

wont spark up...can i get help

okay i connected up my starter now....but theres one more wire left ....and theres two wires which have black and yellow on them im sure one that has a plastic connector plug connects to the "B" terminal which is the left terminal and im clueless where the other black and yellow one goes too
