  1. i found the Skyline that has the extended arm rest. it's a 2000 GTX. here are some pics of a nice example:
  2. would Nissan 240SX/Silvia cals and rotors work? here in the USA we don't have DR30s sitting around anywhere.
  3. ^^^ i indeed hope so. that GT-R clone is just a hard-on. i look up to that ethic.
  4. it's local only. damn. no chance of shipping to the USA.

^^^good point. yes, it looks much more like a museum actually. those C210s are damn nice looking, by the way. had no idea they can look so good. makes me want one.

got to click around and find stuff as you can. are a good many pics of C210s. am still looking around on it. have fun: http://www.geocities.co.jp/MotorCity-Circuit/4605/index.html some examples:
  8. yes, Alphadog, it's best to get actual GT-R pics as you suggest. people who make knock-offs can have widely varied interior presentations. i have a 1:18 scale of model of the KPGC110 and the arm rests are the small kind, with no metallic panel at the bottom of the inner door. let me look for more pics of the #4 pictured car. here, i found some. same car:

if you want both a C10 and C110 why'd you sell her? timing issues? fiscal constraints?
  10. WTF?! wha???? wwwwwhy? what do you mean?!
  11. the 240K i may be getting has already some repop GT-R parts, but i want a spare set of the grille, the boot spoiler, and the front fascia spoiler. you're saying down under there is a size limit to overseas packages? you mean for the regular post? what about for larger packages? stuff is shipped internationally every day that is larger. how do you get around that?

    awesome, many thanks, khughes
  13. khughes, check your PM i'm going to be getting a 240K fairly soon. that would be the KH? the KP is GT-R. i'm going to GT-R-ize it. so you say that the GT-R has the silver strip panel? all that i have seen in pics and as scale models are all black on the inner door panel (?)
  14. now you need to get a spare KPGC10 to race so you can keep this one pristine in the garage by your bed!

how may i acquire replacement weatherstripping for a 240K?
  16. no responses so far. seems like a lot of such queries remain unanswered due to the simple scarcity of widespread support and interest for these awesome cars. the more i read through the threads here the more i realise just how absolutely tiny the community of C110 enthusiasts really is. i haven't seen anything quite like it. thank heavens for this small corner of the Z club devoted to the 240K. for being (in my opinion) the best looking vintage Skyline, it sure doesn't have many followers. if one wants to be different, this is definitely a good way to go about that.
  17. you have one of best C110s i've seen on here. truly well done example you have. to aspire to.
  18. khughes, do you have an email address for those guys with the fiberglass kits? i am in the united states and would rather avoid the time zone issues with calling. any info? -chad
  19. stunning scenery you have there. nice showing of Zs.
  20. i'm down for that. it would probably have to be close enough to OC but not too far from LA. like maybe Fullerton?
  21. here is one of my project cars, R32 GT-R:
  22. this thread may help visualize some things (some drawings of suspension components of a Z car are provided), from zhome.com: http://zhome.com/ZCMnL/tech/R200.htm
  23. here is a densely informative thread on hybridz.org about: Differential / CV / LSD / HP / Torque / R160 / R180 / R200 / R230 / Diff Mount FAQ http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=700184
  24. i just checked a model of a 2000GT KPGC110 that i have and the door panels are evidently the same as any 2000GT, with the longer armrest turning up at an angle not featured. so i don't know where that came from, then, in the above pic. the owner must have gotten another armrest or door panel from a different car. evidently all arm rests are short throughout all of the C110s. however, the 2000GT has black material all the way down, not the silver metallic plate-like thing as seen on the 240K pics. i'm just learning this stuff, so do all 240Ks have the silver metallic insert at the base of the inner doors? if so, that is incorrect for a 2000GT conversion.
  25. i will revise what i've said above ^^^ pic 1 (notice very different arm rest in pic 1) and 2 are (apparently) from a GT-R conversion from a 2000GT; pics 3 and 4 are from 240K (?):
