Motorsports buys the wiring harness grommet from Mike McGinnis at Banzai Motorworks (http://www.zzxdatsun.com/) You can get them cheaper through him. Mike also makes several other reproduction parts which are being sold through Motorsport.
Looks like the dash has a different hazzard mechanism than the original toggle switch for 1970. Could be the dash was replaced or swapped out? Speedometer starts at 20 mph which would be correct, but I guess the PO could have installed the original instruments. Has anyone gone to see the car?
I'd be in for a set as well. Has any outreach been made to Courtesy Nissan in order to determine their ability to do a group buy considering the economic landscape? I'd be happy to give them a call if someone can provide a name a phone number.
Good point about the PO swapping out the parts during its life. I supposed my best bet is to tear everything apart and measure the shaft before I order the part through NAPA, just to confirm it's the 11mm original. Once it arrives and I accept delivery, it's mine, right or wrong part. Thanks for the input!
I have to replace the ball joints in my 6/70 240Z. I confirmed that Napa does in fact carry the 11 mm ball joints, (part #NCP260-1173). Has anyone used these parts? Will I have to replace the steering knuckle as well? Any information is much appreciated.
